The hits just keep on coming!

I saw an Opthamologist today and the pressure in my eyes is high.  For 6 months to a year my eyes have felt like I just woke up all day long.  Turns out it might be due to the PMR.  The Opthamologis said there are 6 muscles going into the eye (or something like that) and they could be affected by the PMR.  Thank you PMR!!!!!! One more notch on your belt!!!

So now I'm taking eye drops each day and need to go back in for regular pressure checks.  No glaucoma yet but may be on the way.

Sorry, just venting tonite.

Kathy

Vent away, Kathy. At least it isn't in your head scrambling like a squirrel in a
cage!

LibethHi Kathy...I can truly empathize with you...I had been on prednisone only 3 months when I flunked my driver's test vision exam and found out I had steroid induced glaucoma...eye pressure was 40...yikes...have been on eye drops ever since...hopefully when I get off the prednisone the pressure will return to normal...am down to 2mg now...one darn thing after another!  Hang in there...

Hi all

I haven't had a problem with pressure (my optician has been scrupulous to keep them checked) but I have had such blurred vision, mainly due to my "bad" eye getting worse with the dose of pred. Now that I am down to 3mg my eyesight is improving and I'm not experiencing so much double vision - only when trying to drive at night. Roll on the winter when I shall be leaving home before dawn and getting home in the dark (grrrrr!).  I just hope I am off the pred before long so I can see at night!

Hope you are having a good day.

Love Judi xx
