Why are my joints so awfull this weekend im home!? i went to the doc yesterday so of course they wouldnt be bad yesterday. been in synagogue all day standing a lot. had trouble standing for my lab classes last week. besdides the reg joint pain also feel like the hurt you get when you jump from somthing high onto hard ground...radiating feeling up legs....arms and legs feel like that. im supposed to taper off pred in next month. starting enbrel up again tomorrow. poo i hate this! Ow ow hun. The radiating pain you're talking about sounds MUCH more like nerve issues. Do you feel comfortable asking your doctor about something like Lyrica? I think maybe it might help you, especially since you have Fibro too. Why don't you give him a call and see what he says?i dont think radiating is exactly the right term but it feels exactly how it feels when you jump from somthing high to somthing hard, that boom contact feeling

i didnt even think to mention it when i saw her. also forgot about my mouth sores, one time she didnt ask... and my face being puffy-probablym just from pred

Yeah, well I knew EXACTLY the pain you're talking about. I still get that. Did you know it's not normal? Even when you jump? LoL It's a "we're messed up" thing.

Call your doc girlie!!!!!!!

Not normal even when you jump???  How can that be?  That's happened to me my whole life, if I was jumping from high enough.Oops, I didn't mean to leave you out of that, Little M.  I'm sorry you're not feeling well, but at least you're home with your mom.  And I agree with Katie, call the doc back and ask about it.thanks you guys. joints are completely awfull tonight, not just hurting, feel swollen, difficult to move around. really sucks im at home and have stuff to do, im sick of complaning to my mum. she doesnt like hearing it i know it makes her worry more when i complain all the time. it just hurts so bad and nothing helps. maybe the mobic will help a bit with pain, who knowsI've had Rheumatoid Arthritis now for over 22 years now and have taken about every medication for it.  Enbrel has saved and may my life more tolerable.  I had taken pred for over 10 years. even though it helped in maintaining my livability there are too many side effects from it over time. It was heck removing the pred but finally kicked it.  My health has  held its own now for 8 years now.  The pain is always there but you learn to manage it and thank god for every bit of quality life that you get.

Littlemermaid,
I hope you have a better weekend. Sounds awful.

hope you get to feeling better hun......Hope the enbrel kicks in quick for you

Katie~ Yea i have had that happen to me when I jump my whole life too.  How is that now "normal" ?

It's not normal, it means that you either have feet that aren't "normal" - aka you have a low arch, high arch, etc etc or you have an underlying problem - aka RA!
