I sorry about last night guys. I was taking a break from cleaning son's room and hubby made me go back and help him. PLUS, I have been trying to save the kitty from Son

She is litter box trained, she eats kitten food, she was the smallest one in the bunch. They had a total of 21 cats, 16 of them were kittens. They had 2 moma cats that had babies on the same day.

Anyways... I named her Abi. Daughter said she is going to call her Abigail.

MIL was not too happy to see that we had a kitten when she came over after work.

Good side... it only took daughter 10 mins to clean the livingroom tonight. I told her to clean the livingroom, and her daddy told her if the livingroom did not stay clean he would get rid of the kitten. That snapped her into cleaning mode.

Ok I guess ya'll are ready for a picture now huh? It is not a good one because the kids would not leave her alone. and we are still trying to get son to leave her alone. He keeps putting her in the litter box and telling her to go poo poo.

I glad you finally got one!!!!

Oh, she's so sweet! I keep telling hubby that we need a kitten now that our two cats are all grown up. He won't listen. Thanks everyone!

Yeah... it was wierd how he caved in after he was dead set against me having a kitten.

Daughter let her outta her basket this morning, and she did not know where her litter box was and she peed on the livingroom carpet.

I just weighted her on hubby's postal scale, and she weights 11.9oz. She is sooo small, she does not even look as old as the other kittens they had there.

She has like calico markings on her lower half, and the others markings are stripes on her head and half was down her body.

She is very playful.

I just hope she learns where her litter box is and uses it, otherwise hubby will be upset. I told him about her peeing in the livingroom, and he said "Ok." I blamed it on daughter though

She is soo small... I am afraid to let her roam around the house at night, as she might get "lost". So, I put her in her basket at night so when we get up in the morning we will know where she is at.

Here is a better picture of Abi.

Joonie, what a sweet kitten, even if she peed on the carpet.  She's so tiny and probably doesn't understand the concept of kitty litter.  She needs her mommy to show her..........................please no pics of that!  LindyShe is adorable.

Aww com'on you know a pic of a kitten using the litter box is quite cute

The lady actually said she was potty trained already. I just have to get her use to where her litter box is at.

She is sleeping on my daughter shoulder. Daughter is sitting in her moon chair and the kitten climbed up to her shoulder and is now asleep. Well, last night she climbed up and went to sleep in my armpit

Kittens are the BEST, aren't they! They are just so darn cute and loveable!

It eventually grows to be a cat."

Oh Joonie,

Your new kitten is sooo cute! Love that little multicolor face and those white paws! Glad it worked out for you to finally get one! And don't worry, she will get regular at using the litterbox. It really is very instinctual for cats and she is just having to get used to different housing.

One tip I would like to pass on though for helping her with this is to use one of those enzime type of pet soil cleaners. (at most pet stores or online) so that she can't sniff out and repeat. Supposedly they can smell what we cannot begin to and that is what can lead to problems.

In any event, she is adorable!!!

Regards

Thanks everyone

Abi got her first bath tonight. I just had to give her a bath, as she kinda smelled, I watched her poo and step all over it trying to cover it up (EWW!!), and I think she had a flea or 2.

Now she smells sooo much better.
