Ok, so this summer I indulged in way too many plates of nachos w/chili and cheese and packed on 8lbs. I am always the same weight - ALWAYS. This got me angry. Anyway, I bought this book about two weeks ago, excuse the ling but it's called Skinny B*tch. It's sooo good and today I got on the scale and I've already lost 5 lbs. I feel fantastic. You can do a search on if you google Skinny Bitch Diet. Don't just google the first two words cause you'll get a dirty site. Anyway, the book touts a vegan diet - which I can't do, but it's basically the premise of "If you eat crap, you will look like crap and feel like crap". Simple, huh? Let me tell you, I've follwed this diet, and i"m never hungry. Typical day of meals is: breakfast, I get up and have a bowl of sliced strawberries and glass of water. About 1/2 hour later I have either a toasted whole wheat ENglish muffin w/soy butter (yes it tastes like real butter!), or a bowl of cereal (I'm not talking Captain Crunch though), lunch I have an organic microwavable meal (Like the Amy's brand), snacks are fruits, raw veggies, handful of nuts, etc. I also have been having a protein drink w/a spoonful of this powder called Psyllium husks which really expands in your stomach and fills you up like it's THanksgiivng night! Dinner I have a salad and sweet potato, roasted asparagus and a little piece of meat - told you, no vegan here. Anyway, don't go buy the book, just google Skinny Bitch Diet. Good luck, let me know what you all think.

By the way, I haven't posted in about two months I think but I've been reading up and want to say a big "HI" to all!Honey39340.2183912037Honey~ Glad the diet is working out for you!!  How have you been feeling lately? Hi Honey, So glad you found an easy diet to follow. I am a weight watcher and I would love to know where you get the soy butter.
Good luck and I am going to google the skinny bitch diet.
Soy Garden makes a buttery spread. Kelsaysmommy, I've been feeling better than I think I've felt in 20 years. I have energy, I've been walking three miles a day (I got a pedometer), I'm staying stress-free (so far). There is hope for everyone out there. Please don't lose hope of remission. My next dr. appt is on October 4th. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for asking! Thanks Honey, didn't know there was 'soy butter', my gosh I'll FIND it as I'm also afraid of cholesterol count. Thanks for the tip, I'd kill to lose weight right now and my hubby would be so happy. LyndaI sometimes use a great vegan butter called Earth Balance. It tastes exactly like butter, but it has the same colories, too. Just no animal products or GMOs. PS...Long term changes to healthy whole foods is really the best way to lose weight and stay healthy. Sounds like Skinny Bitch follows that principle.
