OT - Just back from Portugal | Arthritis Information

Hi Guys

I've missed the chatter and thanks for your message Linda.

This is the second bloody time I've typed this, went away to try and resize my photos (with no luck) and then lost the post. Hissy fit would be an understatement!

Portugal was great. We (hubby, MiL, SiL & BiL) hired a villa which turned out to be bigger than on the web photos. It was spotlessly clean and the pool was fab.. if a little chilly, we've been home 2 days and hubby says his 'bits and bobs' are only just back where they belong!

Luckily for BiL & SiL (who dont have a drink problem.. hic!* honest), the bus which took us into the fishing village called Alvor each evening was just at the bottom of the road our villa was on. Our day generally went along the lines of get up, spend the morning by the pool, have drinks and nibbles early evening, bus into Alvor for evening meal, back home for more drink and nibbles.

The temperature was 26 degrees for the whole 8 days we were there so we all look a little toasted. Cordy, I promise we did lots of the 'slip, slap, slop).

Having taken your advice re the steriod injections the hands/elbow have been brill and continue to be so. This is week 4 for the sulfa and so the tummy has settled down nicely, just hit a tiredness wall about an hour after taking the morning dose. Otherwise, I feel really good at the moment. Hopefully going back to work on Monday wont be too much of a shock to the system.

My furry baby, Milo, managed not to go missing this time and William (my son), was pleased to hand over responsibility of Milo to us when we got home. Mainly because to keep the cat in his routine Will had to get up each morning at 7.00am (which is early, Will works night shifts), to feed Milo and let him out. After the carpet debacle... we were pleased that no accidents had occured whilst we were away.

I'm just off to get some tea and moving into the sitting room, the sun has gone down and my conservatory is freeeeezing.

Glad you had a good time

Now get to postin

Yep, love to go to Portugal!!!
