Hey girl!!   Just wondering how you're doing.Hey!  Thanks for asking!  Things are about the same.  I have been really exhausted and more sore but its not as catastrophic as I thought it would be for stopping my meds.  I have four drs appts the first 2 weeks in Oct.  I may end up going back on the humira after speaking with the drs but won't do the steroids.  My current pain dr talked to my current a week or so ago and they are calling me UCTD, undifferentiated connective tissue disease with fibro and the other stuff.

One of the appts is with a new pain dr who does do abx therapy as well as some other treatments.  One of the other appts is with an endocrinologist.  Than I see my rheumy and my current pain dr.

I am sticking to my diet and have lost 6 pounds and started my water class this week as well.  I am glad today is Friday as I plan to rest this weekend as we have my girlfriends engagement party next Saturday which is going to be a big outing for me.

So, basically, just trying to get through the days and come to terms that this may be the best I ever get.  I think I could deal with the pain if it wasn't for the complete exhaustion.  Working full time is becoming increasingly difficult but I am doing my best.

Whats new on your side of the city?  I will be heading home here in a few minutes and won't be back on line until Monday so have a happy weekend!!

Glad to hear from you and the fact that it sounds like your Doc's are talking.  Sometimes I feel that is the worst part of this whole thing.  Doctors not communicating.

Have a good and restful weekend, and we will continue to pray and look forward to hearing from you.

Michele - glad to hear you are doing so well, as I too am going to be trying to reduce my medications now that I have done the first round of chemo/folic/plaquenil for a year and seem to be stabilized.  I started out on lower dosages, but the predisone made everything go whacky, so he upped everything.  Now I am off the Predisone and my numbers are good, so I want to try to reduce back to my starting dosages.  Perhaps if I continue to show good readings we can reduce even more, but that's six months off with visits every three months.

It's good to hear someone can stop and face the fear and then regroup.  But losing six pounds!!!  That's tremendous.  Once you get exercising, don't be surprised if you gain some back as muscle weighs more than fat :)  I wasted away so badly you can send me some of your weight, I could use it LOL.  Take care.
