Hi everybody, I am new at this forum and that's my story:
I was diagnosed with severe RA some seven years ago, treated with everything possible (Prednisone, MTX, Arava, Plaquanill, Salazopyrin, Enbrel). Finally' the combination of Enbrel and MTX put me on remission (+-) for some 4 years. Before 2 years while being on MTX+Enbrel I started to have upper back pain (especially in the left side + right hand)
MRI showed spinal perineural masses or lesions
Slowely during last 1.5 years the backpain dissapear. Repeated MRI's showed that the spinal masses clearley got smaller!!! On the other way' my RA was slowly getting worse
I really don't know what to do: right now' RA makes my life a nightmare....!!!!
The rheumy dr do not intend to put me back on ENbrel or MTX without a definite classification of spinal lesions (and I can get this only if I will undergo an open spine biopsy- that I refuse to have). The medicine that may help me should be Mabthera (without MTX) but I don't have the insurance approval to receive it....
Any suggestion?
