Looking forward to a Lazy Sunday today. We don't even have to go to Church today; the husband was lector at the 5:00 Mass last night so we all went then.

Goodmorning everyone!!!! It's a beautiful day here in the Chicago burbs today. Its going to be a LONG day today....Going to church, then we have to go grocery shopping....THEN im going to try and convince hubby to stop by Walmart and Kohls too. I have to get stuff for my mom to make a wedding picture for the wedding we're going to on Saturday and I wanna maybe get an outfit for Kelsay for picture day on Tuesday and I wanna use her gift card for Kohls that she got for her birthday. I think that is allive got going on today but who knows.....

Good morning everyone! Today I'm packing up all the stuff we're going to need for our trip to South Dakota tomorrow. Two long days of driving. Ugh. In some ways it will be good though. It will force my husband and I to spend time together. We need to work on our relationship. And...it's gonna be cooler in the mid-west. We're still sweltering here in Florida. I'm day-dreaming constantly of Fall, and leaves turning, and pumpkins, and wearing jackets. I love to wear sweaters and jackets.

Well, after a stressful day yesterday...I need some more sleep...couldn't...have too much to figure out.
I hope everyone elses Weekend is going better than mine. Not going to Church to put on heirs...I don't play games very well. I guess I got too much money taken from me while playing Monopoly when I was a kid.
Have a great trip! It is so much fun getting to step out of your normal everyday routine, and everyday sights to go somewhere new and different! I hope you have a wonderful time.
My day is going to be a bit mixed I think. Hubby needs to work on his car - it wouldn't start yesterday. Hopefully he can get it figured out - he isn't exactly what I would call a mechanical genius when it comes to cars! This could turn out to be a very expensive day!

My son is marching with the high school band in a 3 mile parade today. It's pretty hot here today, so those poor kids are going to be dead when they're done. It is a big competition, with bands from all the surrounding towns competing against each other. Our band usually takes either 1st or 2nd - with our toughest competition being the city next to us. They beat us last year, so we gotta win this year!
Later I hope to go out with everyone and visit some Halloween stores. Hey, I got birthday money from my Mom to spend - most women would get new clothes - I want to spend it on Halloween supplies!
Well, the husband and kids are going to my dad's house to do yardwork and recycling today. No wonder why my dad thinks that my husband walks on water.Lazy Sunday around here for us too. Going to grill out steaks later on. It is a beautiful day here too. I love being able to have my windows open after being all shut in over the summer with a/c.
I got "new to me" shelves and end tables while I was gone. I am so happy!! My old end tables were just really...well...yuckky lol. Danny found original Ethan Allen end tables at a garage sale for 7 bucks each!! They do need to be refinished and it will take me about a week and half to do each one (there are only 2). We also found really nice wood shelf unit that someone was just throwing away! I am finally able to put up my Mickey Mouse dolls and my other knick knacks that I have with me. Some are still in storage in his sisters basement lol.
The Packers have won 2 games in a row and hopefully we will continue on this winning streak!! GO PACKERS!!!!
WOOHOO!!!! Go Pack!!!!I have been sleeping my day away. Felt sick... my throat was sore, and I just felt soo tired again. I hope I am not getting sick. Ahhh... might as well get sick now, than a week before my scheduled infusion huh?
I am still tired and can go back to sleep. And I just woke up about 2 hours ago!

OK so theres a 711 across from me right? well the guy Tim that works there (thats who I mad the bet w/) well this morning I went over to get a coffee (well I ended up getting a hot chocolate cause their capachino thingy was broke) well....so we were trash talking eachothers teams and only 1 guy out of like prolly 30 or so people that walked in had his back w/ the trashtalking it was hysterical!!!! Yea hes a Bears fan AND a dork...thats a crappy combo I have decided that what we need is a wife. Someone to cook and keep house, maybe a part time job to free up a little cash flow. We could put a cot for her in the basement. Plus, my husband I could travel more, leaving our daughter home in the tender loving care of her new step mom. Whatcha think??

LOL - my husband and I have said for years that we need a wife. And my father and stepmother need a husband (dad's health is failing and he can't do the "manly" stuff around the house anymore)
Then home to plan a remodel of my kitchen. ugh.
Also, planning to go to my 50th highschool reunion...can you believe it!?? Emails from a few 'old' school mates were unbelievable, one of my friends was a Judge. OMG we all said! It will be N of San Francisco in Marin County. It sounds like fun, laughing with the old 'gang'.

Lynda, it rained here in Southern Calif. also, quite a bit yesterday, but only a few scattered showers today. I absolutely love this dark, dreary weather...such a change from the 100 degree temperatures last week!

Yep me to and the river and the creeks where we were yesterday were so low I couldn't believe it. My little Poochie love it though, she could walk all the way across the river and hardly got her belly wet
