Goomorning/Afternoon/Evening Friends!!!!!!  Well it is a good day..Ya wanna know why? Well good Im soooo glad you asked (hehe i was gonna tell yall anyhow

Hope everyone is havin a good day

Just stopping by to say hello.  Hope everyone is doing better today.  My son Jamie is sick today.  Probably just Monday-itis, but he's home from school.

One more year, one more year, just one more year, and then I am done with public school.  I been doing this since 1990, and I am so ready to be done!

Lynda~ It is so good to hear you're doing so well.  Congrats on losing the pred, you gotta feel like a million bucks!

Shelly~I'm sorry you aren't at the top of you're game today.  Hope it goes by quickly for ya.

Shannon~  How're you going to spend it?

Linncn39349.3434837963It's just now getting light out, looks like it's still overcast. I'm hoping this is my last day at work for the winter, everyone else is laid off. We have a couple of inventories to get done, a couple of invoices to finish and then I will just twiddle my thumbs until the boss says 'see ya around'. Thursday and Friday I labeled the last 500 cans of smoked salmon, because the retail staff was gone.

Hi everyone!  Just a quick pop in before I have to slowly get ready for the infusion.

Hope Jamie starts to feel better soon!  Shelly...hope your day gets better and you are not so overwhlemed later on!  Lynda congrats on being pred free!!

Weather here is changing once again.  After cool temps over the weekend we are going to have record breaking heat today.  We are expecting some rain later tonight so of course I popped a weather flare last night and it is still going on.  Blah.  Stupid weather lol.

Packers win again!!!  YEEEEEHAH!!!!

Karen so Jamie is offically "sick" today?  poor thing

Link Im not sure how I'm gonna spend my new found fortune...

Liz, have fun getting your infusion today...well as much fun as you can I guess.  I am definitly sick of this back and forth weather....I'd be happy w/ 72-75 degree weather all year round....I HATE it when its in the 90s it SUCKS! LOL

Afternoon everyone!

Well, they came and got the car today to repair it. Hope it is not anything too bad. As we need the car back by tomorrow, as MIL needs her car to go to work.

Abi Kitty is just a little booger! She is always into something. So instead of me having one toddler, I now have 2!

Oh the other night hubby was washing clothes and Abi was outta her basket and about. The last time I saw her she was in the pileof dirty clothes playing with a string. Then I asked hubby where she was at and he said he had not seen her. We looked and looked for 15 mins and could not find her. I then asked him if he thought me might have picked her up with the dirty clothes and put her in the washer. He said he did not think he did, but he went and opened the washer just to make sure. She is sooo small, and light you would not be able to tell if you picked her up in a pile of clothes. So... finally hubby sat down in the floor next to the desk to look under it and there she was ASLEEP on the ac plug next to where my foot was. I did not even notice her. She is about the same color as the ac plug for my laptop. She was laying on top of it as it was warm.

Oh well... trying to decide what I am going to do today. I guess I will be giving Abi a bath and clipping her nails. Probably finish folding clothes and then lay down.

Once when I had just moved into a new apartment, I thought I had lost one of my cats.  I looked in every box, in every closet, in every cupboard but I could not find her.  I finally sat down in an old overstuffed chair that my grandmother had just given me (it's a family heirloom; my sister had it re-covered and it's now part of her family) and started crying.  Well, the chair started meowing.  Charlotte had wormed her way UNDER the chair cushion and was hiding there.  She never was a big fan of change, and she really hated moving!

Good afternoon everyone,

I am trying to do some housework that I have been putting off. I decided on Sat. to fligh up and have lunch with my wife on Sun. It was nice to see her even though I was gone like 13 hrs. We only got to spend about 3.5 together. Flight delays and security... Anyway it was worth it!  Dr. appt was at 9, a few chores this afternoon, and relaxing is all I have planned for today.

I guess I had better get my self moving those dishes are not going to wash themselves.

                          Good Afternoon Everyone

Hubby is off today and let me sleep late this am

Well have a painfree fun day and I'll TTYL

I gave Abi a bath, she liked it a bit better this go around.

I clipped 3 of her 4 feet. She would not let me clip the other foot.

I changed her litter box, can't have a dirt litter box and a clean kitty.

I scrubbed the shower down, not as clean as I would like it to be, but will do.

I took a shower. I am as clean as I wanted to be so that will do. Son would not let me wash his hair. He is afraid of getting baby shampoo in his eyes

Hummm.... the laundry is still awaiting, but scrubbing down the shower about did me in, so no more house cleaning for today. My legs are still shakey from where I was cleaning the shower.

Well, I am back from work and it was ok.  I am still reelling from the very emotional weekend we had.  Of course it was emotional...I was taking steriods and felt good enough to really clean my house! HATE THAT!

So, I guess everyone is happy, but there is a lot of work to do to resolve all of it, and really my heart was totally ripped out. (but I was also reminded that I like to feel sorry for myself) So take all of this with a grain of salt.

So, I showed him everything I accomplished on the computer, then I told him of giving the cat a bath and clipping 3 out of 4 feet of nails. And then I was waiting for him to go in the bathroom but he never did. *bottom lip poked out* Then before we left to go to wal-mart, hubby needed break and so did daughter, as not having our car threw off grocery shopping for the week off. I showed him the shower. But oh well... no pat on the back for me.

I do get a pat on my back for letting him buy his stupid Superman Cartoon DVD he has been wanting. No, I mean he actually patted me on the back and said something about letting me get something I wanted next week. *rolls eyes*

Yeah... a clean shower & cat does not count for a pat on the back, but letting him buy a cartoon sure does... something is wrong there

Oh well, I will get my entertainment outta it, as I will watch him fall asleep while watching the cartoon LMAO! And then I will wake him up when the cartoon goes to the credits and then he will be kinda ticked that he missed it LMAO!

So what does everyones kids want for Christmas?

Mine usually get what we decide to buy them

I got to go take some meds, and I'll come back to play, unless hubby wants to talk.  Love peeps!

A few years ago, my oldest son told me that even though he didn't usually get everything he asked for, that I always made the best Christmas's.  That made me so happy.I just took the 20 mgs of methotrexate at 4pm and slept until now! WOW, I feel like I was run over by a truck!, will check in later. Lynda

MONA IT'S MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY TO BECAUSE OF

THE KIDS MY WIFE ALWAYS MAKES CHRISTMAS CANDY AND COOKIES

AND THE KIDS HELP I LIKE WATCH THEM ALL  MAKING A MESS IN THE

KITCHEN LAUGHING AND JOKING. BUT IT IS GETTING TO BE LESS

ABOUT FAMILY TIME AND MORE COMMERCIAL FOR THE KIDS IT

TAKES A LOT OF THE FUN OUT OF IT. ITS A REAL SHAME, THAT'S

WHY WE STILL DO THE BAKING AND TALKING TO THEM AND TRY

TO ENJOY THAT AS MUCH AS WE CAN NOW TILL THEY GET BORED

WITH MOM AND DAD AND WANT TO GO PLAY ONE OF HIS GAME

SYSTEMS, AND DAUGHTER WANTS TO PLAY PRETEND OR WATCH

SCOOBY DOO WHICH THAT ONE I DON'T MIND I WATCH IT WITH

HER NEVER TO OLD FOR SCOOBY DOO. LOL

Darrel I know what you mean about the commercialism(sp) but we are so steeped in tradition it would take dynamite to blast us out to change!

I LOVE Christmas!!!

LINNC WOW THAT SHOULD HAVE MADE YOU HAPPY, YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WE WORRY EVERY YEAR DID WE GET THE RIGHT THING, DID WE GET ENOUGH, DID WE DIVIDE IT EVENLY BETWEEN THE KIDS THE WORRING IS SO EXHAUSTING JUST FOR 10 MINUTES EVEN THOUGH WE ARE SMART ENOUGH TO REALIZE THIS WE ALL DO THE SAME THING EVERY YEAR JUST BECAUSE WE LOVE THE LITTLE DEMON'S. THAT WAS JUST A WONDERFUL COMMENT YOUR SON MADE.

JOONIE SORRY YOU HAD SUCH A BAD DAY AGAIN , HOPEFULLY YOU GET UP TOMORROW AND YOU CAN HAVE A DAY WITHOUT PAIN AND YOUR HUSBAND COMES HOME FROM WORK AND SAY'S YOU WORKED TO HARD AND GIVES YOU A MESSAGE AND THEN TO TOP IT OFF TAKES YOU TO ARBY'S

We have lots of babies, grandbabies, neices and nephews, and a couple of great grand babies! Theres usually around 40 to 50 people in my immediate family gathering for Christmas

Shannon I would search high and low to find those shoes for Kelsay. Sounds like her little heart is set on them

My brother from California is coming out for Thanksgiving... he is the "rich" one outta the family. But since most of us have grown up, he does not buy too much anymore. I do not care, I just like to have him around.

Now... when he is visiting... that is when the drama ALWAYS happens. I LOVE family drama for some reason. I guess becuase we can NEVER go one holiday without someone getting their panties in a wad! Mainly my other sister and oldest brother. Yeah to 2 spoiled ones like to show out.

But anyways... Just waiting for the sh*t to hit the ole fan that week he is down. Last time our brother was down for a visit, my other sister did not speak to him for almost a year, because he bought my daughter so school clothes for her b-day and her 16 year old daughter did not get anything. My daughter was not even expecting anything from him.

Anyways... Yeah this Thanksgiving might just be better than last Thanksgiving even though my other sister still was not talking to him on that Thanksgiving either.

WELL THIS EVENING.

Now the wanna-be gay brother always gets his shorts in a wad, yeah TMI coming up... he does not wear under-roos

So will you be having both brothers at your house for Thanksgiving?

If she just gives him a bottle of Jack and/or case of beer and a mattress to crash out on, and let people wake him up by throwing things at him or just let them observe him in his "natural" *cough cough* habitat... they will run outta their screaming! I know... as it has happened to me when I was a kid

There is never any drama with my fam...besides loving each other, we just like each other too.  We always laugh a lot when we're together.

With my in-law family, we don't exchange gifts anymore.  We pool our money and provide a nice Christmas for a needy family, taking turns who gets to choose the family.  Usually it's a family from church, although when it's my turn, I'll choose a military family with Mom or dad deployed.

I wanna go to Joonie's for Thanksgiving!

I did not ever really get to be a part of the sibling fun, until like a few years back. Before than I was just considered a "kid" and was left out. But now I get to join in on the fun.

LOL LINK, Family Fueds! We get along too good

YOUR SISTER SHOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY HER NEICE GOT SOMETHING NICE AND SOMETHING SHE NEEDED. I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND THE JEALOUSY BETWEEN FAMILY MEMBERS. BUT I WAS A ONLY CHILD  I DIDN'T HAVE SIBILINGS TO FIGHT WITH. NOT COMPLAINING.

Yeah, I predicted last Christmas to be like every other christmas, but it was a disappointment...

Yeah... the holidays bring out the best in everyone

Darrel, most of anything that goes on around the holidays in mine & hubbys family... we all talk about it for YEARS! Most of it is just so stupid that it is actually fun to make fun of.

Like one christmas hubby's grandpa got on to us kids & adults about throw a ball of aluminum foil around at each other. He told us to stop throwing it before someone got their eye knocked out and that he knew a guy that got his eye knocked out with a biscuit! Yes... a BISCUIT knocked dudes eye out, so the story goes.

To this day... when ever someone throws something at someone, someone will say something about a biscuit knocking a guys eye out.

It has been tradition since then to get balls of wrapping paper and throw them at people while everyone is waiting for everyone to arrive. I usually start it, or FIL does. And when Grandpa catches on that we are throwing stuff we get to hear that story all over again. It is like a "Family Tradition"... been doing it since 2000.

Darrel, you're welcome to come to MI for the holidays

Edited to add:  A few Christmas' ago my Grandma was in the sentimental/I want to get rid of things mood and she gave all her kids and me something of hers, it ranged from something christmasy to jewelery.  I got some christmas ornaments that my mom made when she was a kid, a Christmas picture that my mom made, and my favorite thing was that my mom had put in a frame a picture of my grandpa (Papa) and I when I was about 4 and we are sitting on the RR ties by the driveway of my Grandparents old house and she has a saying that she drew on there as well. It's one of my most favorite things I have in my house.  Everthing that my grandparents give us kids has a reasoning behind it.  They wont get stuff that is silly, there has to be something sentimental about it or it has to remind them of that person...OMG i could go on and on LOL

kelsaysmommy39349.8678125

MY FIL IS FUN TO BE AROUND HE IS HILARIOUS, HE'S LIKE A BIG

KID. HE SPENDS HOURS IN STORES JUST LOOKING AND HE IS ONE

OF THESE PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO TOUCH EVERYTHING. LOL

OH GET HIM IN YOUR NEW VEHICLE AND EVERY BUTTON HAS TO BE

TOUCHED NOW THAT DRIVES ME CRAZY WHEN I AM DRIVING, IT'S LIK

DRIVING SOME WHERE WITH THE KIDS. BUT I JUST LAUGH IT OFF

HE IS SO INNOCENT IT JUST MAKES IT FUNNY HE NOT TRYING TO BE

IT'S JUST WHO HE IS. SO I DON'T MIND SPENDING TIME WITH HIM

Goodnight Link!

We always buy presents for the kids until age 13. After that they play santa bingo with the rest of us adults. We have a great time fighting over who gets what

VACATION TURN OUT FOR YOU AND THE WIFE A COUPLE

OF WEEKS A GO. GOOD I HOPE.

Oh man I remember my other sister when it was her first daughters b-day she would also buy her 2nd daughter presents too and her b-day was not for 2 more months, but her oldest daughter would never get presents when it was the other daughters b-day. Then when their 3rd daughter was born the first daughter had to share her b-day with the 3rd daughter because their b-days were only a month apart! And the other daughter did not have to share a b-day with anyone!

Yeah... I felt soo bad for my other sister first daughter, as she did not have the same daddy as the other 2 and quite often got screwed over. That is why she is/was my favorite niece, but I have not talked to her since last christmas. But she will always be my favorite niece. And if I won the lottery I would be very genorous to her, and not the other so much. She never done me wrong and was always for me and not against me.

We grouped all of the kids in with the adults this year. I guess we will see how it goes. My wife's side still buys individual gifts for each child. They try and stay around but in todays world that does not buy much. My wife will start shopping in Jan. or Feb for next years stuff. That's so sad joonie! I can't imagine giving one of my kid's more than the other!

See w/ bdays I have the same bday as my mom and my Papa (moms dad) his bday is the day before ours so I have always shared a bday but I LOVE it...growing up my mom and I would always go and do something special cause it was "OUR" day.. My mom said that when she was pregnant w/ me Papa did not want me to be born on my moms bday...he wanted me to share a bday w/ him LOL....Papa and i are VERY close and I love being able to share my bday w/ my mom and having mine so close to my grandfathers..and Kelsays is a week before mine as well LOL

Oh.... santa bingo! I might talk everyone into playing that. As we pick names and everyone gets their panties in a wad when they do not get the brother from california buying for them. Last couple of years me and hubby have been kinda cheating on getting the names we want to buy for. We always get my brother from california and his partner!

Hey! Has anyone heard from Katie today? How is Justin? Where's Karen?

Shannon, that's so cool that you have the same birthday as your Mother! I bet you were hoping Kelsay would be born on your birthday also...I know I would!

Merry Christmas everyone!

How is everyone doing tonight?

YOU KNOW YOUR RIGHT RAJAY THAT DOESN'T SOUND

LIKE MUCH BUT YOU KNOW THE PERSON TOOK THE TIME

TO SHOP FOR IT AND REALLY HAD TO PUT THOUGHT INTO IT.

I ALWAY'S FOUND THAT MORE ENJOYABLE.

Well speak of the devil! LOL

We've missed you Karen!

Gale, yea my mom and I both wished she was born on our bday...Her actual due date was my grandfather bday..but she has no patience and was 5 days early LOL...

Sorry, been otherwise occupied!

So we're talking Christmas already are we?  I have to live through Halloween first!

its also cool cause my first name is my moms maiden name so that really threw all the drs and nurses for a loop when I was born..They were all like her name is Shannon Shannon?  NO idiots i have my dads last name LOL yea everyone thinks its the coolest that my mom and I share the same bday...Whats also funny that my mom, and I are 20 years apart and kelsay and I are 20 years apart

We also have someone building one of those spinning tunnels for us, which is exciting.  It's already well underway.

OMG! Let me tell ya'll about this guy I saw in Freak-Mart!

Ok so we were walking down the aisle and I notice this guy... I noticed him because he reminded me of my oldest brother. So... we go to checkout and I go to sit on the bench. Well, I am sitting there watching that guy do the self checkout. He is wearing some black shorts with a big gaping hole in the bottom of them. So... I was watching what he was scanning... one item that caught my attention was he scanned a thing of Depends. Then he had to reach across the buggy to the front part to get an item.... yeah.... I should have looked away at this point! Dude, gets the item... and his shorts go into the crack of his butt! Then I watched him DIG them outta his crack!

My whole thought was "EWWWWWW!!!!" & then it was "I do not think he needs those Depends as it looks like he does not wear under-roos!"

I mean what the hell is he going to stick the Depend to? The crotch of his shorts?!

Yeah... I told hubby about it and he was like that is just gross!

Shannon that is sooo cool! My Gramma and me have the same b-day

Karen I was just fixing to send out a search party for ya! lol

I can't do halloween this year, I ate all the candy

Joonie, have I told you lately that you're a nut!  LOL

And of course I say that lovingly!

eeewwww Joonie!

He was pretty old - late 50ish, bad comb-over.  He had on a skin tight Speedo shirt in bright red, and little tiny white denim shorts!  They looked like shorts a pre-teen girl would wear.  And of course they were skin tight!

It was not a pretty sight.

Well dude was BIG! And he reminded me of my brother, PLUS I felt I had seen the guy from somewhere. So, I was staring at him trying to remember where I seen him from. Not my fault I always have to find the "outta place" things like a hole in someone's shorts or that his shorts when into his crack and he dug them out! I am just observant! Sometimes not for my own good, either.

Joonie I love your stories too! Don't stop! I never see anything...I am the least observant person I know!

Nope did not even watch the first one. I refuse to get sucked into the reality tv. But that kinda went out the window when I discovered project runway and some other reality show I cannot think of right now. I don't know Mo, I'm usually pretty slow on the uptake too!

I only watched The Bach once, when Trista was on it. I liked it too. I'm an American Idol fanatic!

I think in a former life I must have been a dirty old man.

No bachelor but I did see Heroes AWSOME!!!

Mona, I LOVE American Idol!!

I didn't watch Heros last season, and I wished I would have. Everyone says it's so good!

Tomorrow night is what I am waiting for.  The premiere of Boston Legal.  I can't wait!

Gotta see me some Denny Crane!

I think you are still a dirty old man Karen, and you look like Avery Shrieber

I think she's a dirty old lady too! One with big black moles and crusty knee-hi nylons!

OMG Karen I love Denny Crane and Alan Shore!
I think in a former life I must have been a dirty old man.
kAREN IF YOU WANTED TO YOU COULD BE ONE NEXT YEAR! Dang fat finger it again.

Hey, I'm here!  And Mona, I LOVE IDOL too!!!

Hi Shelly! You're just jealous, cause you don't have beauty marks like mine!

Karen NOBODY wants your beauty marks!

Hi Shelly, did you love Chris Doughtry as much as I do?? UMMMMMHi Shelly.

Hi Bris...How's the Valley??

Yeah Karen, you can keep your warts and moles, thank you!

Yah, he was pretty special, but hubby voted for Jordyn two or three times.  We had every phone in the house out.  It was pathetic...you would have thought WE had a relative singing.  Crazy!

How ya doing tonight Shelly?

Law and Order (all of them)

CSI (all of them)

I have been one lazy man since we got cable.

Better...actually much better...I got biatch slapped by one of my best friends in AK...gosh we've been friends for 17 yrs.

I had a GREAT dinner and hot apple crisp after...I am still stuffed!

Jay, I LOVE my DVR box! I record just about everything and then watch it whenever I have time!

I used to watch Law and Order and CSI Jay, kind of depressing after awhile though so I switched to comedy and a few reality tv shows. The news is gruesome enough

Hi Jay...I like those, but hubby thinks they are depressing...I think they are very interesting.

Who slapped you and why Shelly?

I can hardly wait until more shows are shown in HD. I record as much as I can it is so conveinient. I am trying not to get sucked in to many more or I may have to apply for dissability just to watch them all.

Is a DVR like Tevo? I've bought my daughter two in two yrs

On the others, I don't really care who's playing the cops, I am watching for the story.

Yeah Mona, a DVR works just like a TIVO.  It's from the cable company.

This old man need some sleep! I am just not as spry as I used to be.

Goodnight all.

See Mona us back woods people just don't know about them there modern gadgets!

Good night Jay!

No, I did not get slapped literally, but she did tell me to get my head out and start acting like the example....that I have always been.

Night Jay man!

Karen the criminal intent is my favorite of the two for the same reason. I would venture to guess that you like Criminal Minds then as well???I do, but not as much.  Mandy Patinkin annoys me!

HI GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Karen is she the blond prosecutor?

 Gotcha

Nope...my new favorite is HOUSE!!!  I wish I could act like an a** and not feel regret.

Look what Samus drug in

He's too much of an ego maniac for me.  Anyway, I heard he is leaving the show - just like he did with Chicago Hope.  But it may be a contract negotiation ploy.

Katie, how did the second opinion go? Did Justin have surgery today??

Hey Miss Katydid...thanks for coming!!!!

How are you and Justin both doing?  Did he have surgery today?

Hi Darlin1 Hows it going? We were worried bout you guys!

Brisen I fell in love with Mandy Pantikin on Chicago Hope! Did you see him in Princess Bride? DROOL!

 EEEEEWWWW, Mona!!

Shelly i was so in love with House the first season or two and then I got by him like Karen is with Mandy, too much ego for me

Katie...are ya goin' to write a Novel????

No ma'am. He is home in bed asleep!!!! His surgeon is an ass and we requested a new one. He can't have surgery on the high dose of steroids (duh why didnt we think of that?) He's doing WONDERFUL and is supposed to call tomorrow AM to make his follow up with his GI, who is going to help us make a follow up with a NEW surgeon, who will help us schedule a day to take out his gallbladder, once he's tapered off the cortizone (in appx a month) He is THRILLED to be home. LOL I am too!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's just soooo nice to have my hunny back!

HE'S NOT EVEN ON PAIN MEDS. *shocked face!* THAT is how good he's doing.

Well I'm in love with both Mandy and Hugh!  My feet, ankles, wrists, hands and neck are killing me today.  I called to schedule my next appointment with the rheumatologist and I can't get in until November.  It's my own damn fault; I should have scheduled it a month ago (but, of course, I was doing relatively well, so I didn't).  I get some relief from tramadol and acetaminophen (in addition to the naproxen I take every day), but I hate taking that crap on a semi-regular basis.  I'm reluctant to take more than an occasional Vicodin; it blocks up the "plumbing". That's awesome news Katie! Hi Kelly! Nite Kelly! Hope you feel better tomorrow!!

Hi Kelly...don't be affraid to take that vicodin...get some fiber tablets...they are REALLY good!

Katie, I am jumping for joy for you and Justin...I hope it lasts until his gallbladder is out.  You need to go and get some sleep...do you have to work tomorrow???  You guys should have a picnic somewhere.

I'm working right now! LOL I work overnight tonight, and then I'm off tomorrow and wednesday. Shew I can't wait to sleep!!

That's right duh!!!  I can't wait for you to sleep either.

Is it just you and me???  Where did everyone else go?

Alright gang, I'm starting to fall asleep, so I think I'll haul my butt off to bed.

Katie, don't work too hard tonight! Enjoy your next two days off!

Nite all!

Yep, Bris, I'm with you!  Where did you get your signiture???

I see your back Mona...so are you going to stay or not.  I had a huge spasm in my esophagus so, I have to wait until that is out of pain.

Night folks,

Have a great night!

Night Valley Girl!!!!!!!Good night all, the methotrexate's doing me in tonight. I wanted to go to a city council meeting, but couldn't get out of bed. Tomorrow should be better!! Lynda
