Hi New here bare with me | Arthritis Information

Hello

I googled and ran across this place.  Doing some research on Rheumotoid Arthritis RA is so much easier to type.

Just tired all the time so thought it was time to try and figure out why.  I was tested oh about a month ago.  (have been tested for 12 years never a positive until now).

Just not sure what to expect.  I see a regular doc I guess he thinks since it's so early on I don't need to see a specialist.  I take Etodolac which is a generic foram of Lodine.  Forgive any spelling errors please with me I am sure you will see a lot.

Just wanted to say hi and look around to see if I can learn anything new.  Thanks for taking the time to read this. :)

Welcome to AI Robin!!!  Feel free to ask anything that comes to you, this is a helpful bunch of people you have found.  Are you from KY?  If so where abouts?

Hi Robin...welcome!

Hi Robin

Nice to meet you!

Karen

Hi Robin, welcome!

I don't think it's to early on to see a Rheumatologist, it never hurts to ask for a referral. This is a great place to meet people and learn about these darn diseases. I learn something new everyday and there's always someone who's been where you are and willing to share their experiences. There are alot of great laughs too!

Hi Robin and welcome to a great place for caring and support!!  Welcome Robin. Glad you're here. Hope to see more of you.

                                   Welcome Robin!!

Hi Robin and welcome to our little family. Lots of information and knowledge here not to mention the VERY thearaputic "daily chat" filled with all kinds of things but mostly great people.

Jay

Welcome Robin! I did the same as you did. I researched until I was blue in the face, and then found this place. This forum really put an end to A LOT of my running around and researching! You will LOVE it here,

Hi Robin,

A simple question was asked what part of KY.  Martin county.  Don't ask much as I have not lived in KY long so I don't know much about the place.  Other than most people seem to refer to the county you live in as opposed to the town.  I think we are Eastern KY.  Now go ahead and laugh cuz I said I think.  Don't give me directions I don't know E from W.  lol

Again thanks everyone for making me feel so welcomed.

Welcome...

I love KY. My best friend lives out there. I am a huge horse fan and used         &n bsp;
to ride and compete until the RA kicked in. Every time I drive through the
state I fall in love with the rolling hills.

I know this is probably overwhelming but you will find a ton of help here.

Yep Robin this is a great place, because the people are so great.  Try to take a deep breath and take someone with you to help you digest all of the info.  Hello Robin and welcome!

Hey Robin.

 Glad you found us Robin

I guess we're neighbors. I live in IL. Are you planning on seeing a rheumatologist? Or are did you already? This website is wonderful and full of lots of knowledgable people who have or are going through the same thing as you. SO ask away, vent, or whatever...you'll find lots of caring people who understand.

Best Wishes!

Hi CinDee

Well my regular doc has not said anything about seeing a specialist.  I have in the past before I moved here but at that time I was only dealing with osteoarthritis not RA.

But when I developed RA (it's only been about two months) my reg doc said I only for now needed to be treated with etodolac then see him for test every 6 months.  Since it's early and he said since I am so young.  LMAO so young.  I love it.  (not that I am nor do I look nor feel it).
