OMG...I can't imagine being without a shower!!! I hope they get it done quickly!!! Look at this as a necessary learning experience for your girls, you never know what you can put up with until you have done it. We lived in our home for 3 years before we got the well drilled, just before we had our 1st DD. Our girls are absolutely spoiled on the comforts of modern living. Then the younger one went to a camp in the middle of nowhere, just a handpump with cold water and outhouses, for 5 days, I told her before she left it'll be good for you.
You still have water in the kitchen sink to wash hair and monkey baths. You didn't say they took out the toilet, I do hope you still have that. What I'm surprised at is you have only one bathroom for 5 people, how do you manage that? We have 2 and a half baths for only 4 people! Why are they only working two hours a day? If my bathroom was torn up like that, I would be screaming for them to work more!!!

Oh my pin cushion, I'm with micheleb. I would be awful mad if my contractor only worked 2 hours.... I hope the remodeling goes quickly for you. Especially with 2 teenage girls, LOL.

Michele- I have been on the phone all day and the contractor has asured me they will behereall day tomorrow working to get it done by friday morning. WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

I LOVE mine! Even though I have almost slipped off the seat into the shower a few times.

We had our home redone in Jan. bathroom was apart for 3 weeks...lucky we have 2. They never come befor 9 and never worked pass noon, most of time 2 or 3 hours. They have more then one job going at a time and jump around, found this out by talking to workers....I feel for you, I know what its like.
Woohoo Lisa! You deserve a medal for tackling a job like this with 3 kids! LOL. My sister is going through the same thing with renovators! They work at their own sweet pace

Well the contractors ae here now and are making a lot of noise so hopefully its productive noise. They will be here all day today. I have got a lovely non slip floor in the bathroom now called water droplets, (very pretty) and the shower tray is in. The electrician is coming tomorrow and the tiler and painter will be here thursday and the shower will be installed friday. My bathroom vanity unit will be installed today so at least we have running water in there tonight.

Well you can do a mexican bath in the sink at least.
