...no, not my hubby (he went out of town AGAIN today).  "House" premiers tonight.  It's been a long summer.  Hope the kiddies will go to bed on time!  Every single episode mentions something they had to rule out on my daughter in real life - freaky!

LOL Suzanne!  I was like - hubby was out of town?  LOL

See - we are so different!  I'm a Peter Petrelli kind of girl!

Pip

I like both of those shows, although I would have to choose Peter too if it came down. Actually, hands down, Peter. How'd you like the premier, Pip? I watched all of last season but I'm still confused! But I love it.

You're man can't compete with my men - the guys of Boston Legal!

Actually, no one on the show gets me in that way, but it's the funniest show on TV in my opinion.  The season opener is tonight for BL too!

OK, Hill - that makes sense because while I'm a big Star Trek fan from way back I'm like "NOW???".  LOL  And I love James Spader - totally underappreciated actor.

Julez - ssssshhhhh!  Don't tell me what happened!  I was watching the season finale of Lost.  You guys think I'm kidding but I can't do tech.  I told the baby there was no TV is LA and we weren't getting any until daddy got back and set up all the stuff he has hooked up to the TV.  Now, with the miracle of Tivo and the miracle of Torrent we're seeing everything we missed during the move and over the summer.  Just finished Ugly Betty (FABULOUS SHOW!) and all the Dead Zones are que-ed!  I'll know about Heroes tomorrow!  LOL

Pip

P.S.  Hiro is kind of sexy in his change from wuss-geek to samuri warrior!  Just a little too warrior like for my taste!

Okay, who is Peter Petrelli?  I mean, I might love him, too, if I knew who he was LOL!!!

I love James Spader, but never watch Boston Legal (we don't Tivo, so if it comes on at ten, I might fall asleep before the end; that makes me stick with Greta, Nancy, etc. at that hour).

Which reminds me - Dan Abrams.  Loved him since the OJ trial.

"Lost" - they are all hot enough for me, except that wuss that was running the island.  Yes, even the bald guy (did you ever see him in "The Stepfather"?  C-r-e-e-p-y.  He's downright normal now, bald).

"ER" - John Stamos, yes.  Luka, no.

Okay, hubby has been traveling too much lately!!!

Heroes!

Peter Petrelli is the brother that was a nurse, had super powers and became tough in order to "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World".  Come on, is that the best tag line in the world or what?

Hiro is my fave character but not the sexiest - Peter is!  All brooding now, but not too far gone.  LOL

Hiro is one bad ass in the future - too bad, in a Samurai Ninja hero of death way!  I like him better as a geek!

OK, Julez - I saw it tonight!  All I got to say is too much in the past but a kick butt ending!  I'll be back!

Pip

P.S.  And did you love the contract wars they had?  Look how they dumped characters!  LOL

Suzanne,

I just cannot believe you are cheating with my HOUSE man like you are. I could just swear that he looks directly out from the TV into MY eyes only!!!

But yep Hillhoney, Boston Legal does have the FUNNIEST guys around, doesn't it?!!

Melly

Okay,  Love House.  Hugh Laurie cracks me up however I think if I ever came across a doc like him, I would run screaming from the building.  LOL  Tried Lost but I just couldn't get into it.  Never saw Heroes but I've read a few things about it and have considered watching it.  Boston Legal is quite funny. And got hooked on Dead Zone but most of the time I fall asleep before it's on or in the middle of it so I've missed the last few episodes.  Don't have Tivo.  I loved it when I had it.

I love Tivo!  When my husband brought it home I'm like, 'what do we need that for, we already have a VCR' but in 2 weeks I was hooked.

I'll record the Superbowl and then skip the sports thing and watch the commercials!

I want a Tivo for the bedroom.  Wait, we're in a apartment now...I can walk 15 feet for the darn thing!

Pip

Melly - you hussy!

I love HOUSE! I am 24 and I think he is the hottest man on  the planet!

Love his real accent too.

Does anyone else realize that with everycase they have to rule out auto-immune?

Yes, Christina - did you see last night, even the janitor tossed in lupus?

I told our ped my goal is to get the last 2 1/2 years condensed into one episode of House (we've had to rule out brucellosis, neuroblastoma, interstitial lung disease....plus, she's had pneumonia, staph, strep, and possibly an adverse reaction to anesthesia that the FDA has 'urged' me to report, honest....).

Well, when I told him that, he laughed and imitated an announcer going, "A special two-hour event..."  Hey, I didn't say that!  I said one episode!  Guess he knows it couldn't be done.

Back to the show - House has an electric guitar now.  Much hotter than the piano, isn't it?

Peter Petrelli, Peter Petrelli, Peter Petrelli!

Pip

Okay, now I'm going to have to watch Heroes just to see this Peter Petrelli guy.  LOL

Dr McDreamy hands down! WOOWOO is he hot???? Grey's Anatomy is the bomb!

He was half nekkid at the end of the premier!

Pip

P.S.  Suzanne - you just forgiving Melly, or what?

Pip - sure I am forgiving her LOL.  I mean, Tim Daly and Taye Diggs are on Private Practice tonight, right?  There is no need for monogamy, is there?

I can't wait to see Private Practice! All this testosterone flying around may be just what we need

I did see the janitor rule out lupus. I swear it's in every episode!

That janitor part was really funny by the way "Dr. Buffer" hahahaha

And yes the guitar is WAY hotter than the piano.

Hope your daughter is feeling better!

sgordon69 - I heard they're going to re-air the Heroes premier on Saturday if you want to see it. Then the 2nd show will be on Monday.

Here's some pics of him tho if you wanted to check him out: http://images.google.com/images?q=Milo+Ventimiglia&hl=en &um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=X&oi=images&ct=title

I hope Private Practice does as well as Grey's Anatomy. Hopefully it doesn't bomb! :( There's alot of pressure to live up to there.

Okay, Julez has turned me off of that Peter what's-his-name! The first pic I saw was of him getting ready to kiss Jason Gould. As Kathy Griffin would say, 'love the gays' (truly!), but, seriously I'm sticking with House as my dream guy.

Our paper reviewed Private Practice today, said yuck, no chemistry like on Grey's Anatomy. We'll see.....

Yes, indeed! I have become a House "groupie". A strange little tidbit that I read somewhere..House is roughy modeled after (drumroll..) Sherlock Holmes!  Think about it:

              1) House solves medical mysteries, Holmes..criminal.

              2) Both have addiction problems

              3) Can't remember the numbers, but they have the same numbers in their address.

              4) They each have basically only one friend: House has Dr. Wilson, and Holmes has Dr. Watson

              5) A "house" isn't always a "holme" (okay that one's a bit of a stretch, but we get it, don't we?)

              6) Both are extremely intelligent, arrogant and can be quite mean and nasty to people. Their one friend (Wilson and Watson) is basically the only person that really likes them.

I'm sure there are more. I think Holmes also played an instrument, but not real sure on that one.

I also absolutely LOVE Boston Legal! The characters are all wonderful, it's very funny and well written. The balcony scene at the end of each show are great.

One more. I think Medium is a terrific show. Patricia Arquette has the character down perfectly. And you never know who's head is going to end up in a mini bar fridge!

I never was much of a television watcher, until I had to start resting more. At least there are some decent shows on this season.

Yep, House was pretty terrific, but those poor people that are going to be eliminated from his team.  I wonder what the girl doctor that kind of had the same leanings as House is going to play, and if she is going to be part of the "team".

Loved It!!!!

I thought Private Practice was okay, I'll watch it again. But...

An Open Letter to Tim Daly

Dear Tim,

We need to talk. Your hair to wrinkle ratio is disturbing, much like the period Dustin Hoffman went through a few years ago. The wrinkles are not the problem - your last hit show was Wings, and we have aged along with you since the 80's and are here for you now. Please, decrease the hair volume and let a little gray show.

Yours truly,
Suzanne
I just keep watching re-runs of old ER...............OOOOOOOOHHHH!! George Clooney. ( shhh.....dont tell Liz)

It's called ACTING!  Sheesh!  And he's still a hottie!  I just like the character arc that gets us 'future Peter' vs 'future Hiro'.  "Future Hiro' is just too dark.

Loved the letter to Tim Daly!

Pip

Julez -

Thanks -somebody cleared the Tivo and I want to rewatch the premier.  I had a lot of ????

Pip
