GOOD WEEKEND!!!!! | Arthritis Information

 

MY SON WENT ON A DEEP SEA FISHING TRIP WITH HIS DAD THIS WEEKEND AND I'VE HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL, RELAXING WEEKEND.

I HAVE TOTALLY VEGGED!!!!

THE HOUSE IS TOTALLY CLEAN, SO I HAVE READ, WATCHED TV, PLAYED ON COMPUTER, ATE ALL IN MY FLUFFY BED WITH MY FAVORITE "MR HEATING PAD."

I HAD SUCH A HARD AND LONG WEEK, I NEEDED THIS WEEKEND TO REGOUP!  HOPE EVERYONE ELSE HAD A GREAT AND RELAXING WEEKEND AS WELL!!

I've had a good one too. Slept till 10:30 yesterday, almost unheard of for me. Got up and read the paper. Went out for a haircut and was totally babied by my stylist. Went to Central Market (metro Texans should know that place) and picked up some goodies. Came home, David retired rather early, so the dogs and I curled up in the TV room and watched the Cowboy game. Got some  great friends coming over today, going to grill outside. That's it, not real work, just fun and relaxation, good friends and food!

I have to admit that my weekend was not too bad.  I hated the prednisone effects (hungry always and moody)  but at least I am functioning again.  I went to the creek today and the flea market, second hand stores, antique shops, and just hung out with hubby.  We are grilling catfish for dinner with a salad.  YUM.  I spend money I don't have when I get depressed so that has got to stop

I am so happy you had a relaxing weekend.You deserve it.I have been popping meds. and enjoying my big comfy chair with my heating pad this weekend.I love the weekends even though I don't work.They just have a different feel to them.

Did your son catch alot of fish?

HE CAUGHT A 4 FT KINGFISH AND WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!  WE GRILLED SOME TONIGHT WITH A BAKED POTATO AND REALLY ENJOYED IT!   DAD TOOK QUITE A FEW PICTURES OF HIM AND HIS FISH.  HE WAS TAKING THE PICS TO ALL HIS 'BUDDIES' HOUSE TO SHOW OFF!

IT'S GETTING HARDER AND HARDER TO WORK EVERYDAY.  I AM SOOOOOO DEAD AT THE END OF THE DAY AND MY EYES ARE MUCH WORSE...THEY HURT SO BADLY.  MISSED MY RHEUMY APPT LAST WEEK.  GOT TIED UP WITH A CLIENT AND RUNNING 30 MINUTES LATE; CALLED THE OFFICE   TO SEE IF I COULD STILL COME IN AND WAS TOLD I'D HAVE TO CANCEL AND RESCHEDULE.  NO TELLING HOW LONG THAT WILL TAKE.

I RESTED UP ALMOST ALL WEEKEND JUST TO HAVE THE ENERGY TO GO TO WORK TODAY BUT I WAS STILL TIRED AND HURTING.....EVEN WITH MY PROVIGIL!!
