OT RE: Sweatshirts | Arthritis Information

Well, with cool evenings and winter close behind, I am trying to find some plain sweatshirts and when I say plain, I mean without flowers, etc. And, I would prefer some that do not pill.  I have scoured stores and catalogs, but all I can find are those with flowers or animal prints on the front. I tried a couple of mens and they were too tight around the bottom and I purchased them at JC Penney.  I would buy a size 2X because sometimes I like to wear a turtleneck underneath and I like them to fit loosely and they will shrink a little.  Any ideas?  And Thanks! Have you tried Wal-mart?  They usually have a large (no pun intended) large size section.  They carry the Hanes Her Way collection of sweats, which come in all sizes, and many colors to choose from.

Yup Walmart carries sweatshirts that have nothing on them and bottoms to match.

Even our local dollar general also carries them in the winter.  I buy them for the kids there because they are cheap and have lasted for two school years before becoming too small.

Also, Kmart Joe Boxer.  I have one I LOVE - the bottom is not banded, it is straight with small slits on the sides (you can 'dress it up', LOL).  They had bottoms, too - again, no bands at the ankles.  I know when my daughter was in pain from jra, any pj's or anything banded at the wrists and ankles made her cry.
