My MD is sick! Bummer! | Arthritis Information

 

Got a call at 6:45am today from doc's office, seems he is sick and may not be in all week, they resked me for next monday...didn't want to substitute another doc cause this one knows me..meanwhile pain in left hand is getting worse..oh well, I guess he's only human, and can get sick too!!! Right hand is about the same, locking up fingers etc etc...I hope u all have the very best day that you can!!!!!

It's always something - hang in there!  He must be really sick to take a week off. 

 

So sorry, and yes he must be sick or visiting the ski slopes!  I hate when I can't get in. 

There are too many frustrating things to this disease, and doctor's appts. are just one. 

Yes this doc must really be very sick to be off this long...course he knows I'll give him a hard time when he returns LOL...he' one of 8 docs in a local health office and I just don't want to change docs unless I have to....there are no rheum doc's in this area...

My Rheumy posted me script for enbrel then left on maternity leave ( how dare she )  only joking. I have started on enbrel. luckily no problems, and will be seeing her replacement next week. I just hope she is as good and friendly as my usual rheumy. Sometimes we tend to forget that they are human too. Hope you feel better soon or can hang in there until doc is back.  Yup they are human too.  Most say doctors and nurses are the worse patients.  lol    I wonder if that's true.Don, that's too bad.  Hopefully doc will make a quick recovery and you'll get in real soon.
