Jas you rock that sleep stuff worked!!!!! Glad I could help! OTC sleep aids are like any other class of drugs... they all do the same thing, by pretty much the same mechanism of action, but some work on some people and not others. Same with NSAIDs and arthritis. My favorite NSAID might not help you at all.

I did not sleep well...too much pain...everything is set for tomorrow. I can't wait. Of course I need to talk to the RD about some new pains, which I know are related, but I really don't want anything more.
As far as NSAiDS they are all OUT for me. Allergic to them all. I guess I just do a lot of sucking up until night time. Although I did take a half of vicodin to hopefully get the floors swept and laundry done.

Speaking of great ways to wake up....I can't even tell you how sweet it was to wake up and hear Alex moving around. He's off now visiting friends. That's the trouble with a week long visit home. So many people to see, everyday is booked for him. We used to just have a big bash when he came home so he could see everyone at once. He likes it better this way though. It's hard for him to really catch up with people when everyone is here trying to talk to him.

I am up and awake awake. When I dream, I feel like I have slept for hours and feel very rested. That is how the last couple days have been. I have been dreaming and when I wake up I feel awake, not tired like normal. I have also been taking ALL of my sleepy meds soo.. yeah..........

Shannon, I fianlly have a dog that likes baths. I found that out after the banan incident. I still don't love doing it, but at least it isn't a battle trying to keep Charlie in the water.
A very strange thing happened here the other day, still don't quite know what to make of it. It started in the morning when I told my daughter to clean her room. She said "ok". Then my husband and I went out for a few hours and when we came back, she was cleaning her room. And I don't mean the "do just enough to make mom not nag me" kind of cleaning. She dusted and vacuumed, washed the window. She even sorted through her clothes to make a stack for the Purple Heart. AND she was doing it all quite happily. I mean, what has happened to my girl? Is she actually becoming a productive member of our family? Hmmm.....we shall see.

Hey Joonie have you ever seen the cable show Cheaters (or something along those lines) where the person that thinks they are being cheated on hires a PI then they confront the person. I watched it over the summer and there was one where they confront this guys gf and she kept sayin how could you do this....DUDE your cheatin on him where do you get off sayin how could you do this... yea i just kept laughing...They were not trying to hide the fact she was cheating on her bf...lol people make me laugh

Dude! that is what I was using as a guideline for my PI Preverted Rooster. I had that show in mind when I typed it.
And the bar-o-soap well... that was thought up along the lines of "I know what you did last summer."
What do you think I do not watch tv?Does anyone know what kind of "human" antiseptic you can use on a kitty???? Samus had fleas, and we got rid of them, but she scratched a spot on her neck raw and I just want to put something on it, to keep it from getting infected. I think she may be obsessing over that spot too....any ideas? I would clean it with some soap and water, and clip her nails nice and short. And, I would put some cortizone creme on it - it probably itches and that will calm down the itching so she wills stop digging at it.
Abi Kitty has a couple of fleas on her when we got her, yet another reason she got a bath the second day here. But apparently I did not get all the fleas off of her as before her next bath I found 2 more fleas, but she seems to have no more. She hardly scratches at all now.
I remember when I was little we would go over this ladies house that had taco bell dogs aka Chihuahua and I would get one of her dogs and sit on the couch and pick the fleas off the dog. The dogs loved it, so I thought
Oh... we came back home from in-laws tonight and Abi Kitty was asleep on my laptop and had all kinds of windows open and stuff typed out. The meat was falling off, you'd have loved them. I never eat ribs, but everyone else liked them. The chicken was good too. With crushed red pepper...yum.Thanks guys! She's actually got two raw spots under her chin. One is pink and almost totally healed, I'm not worried about that one. But the other one is red and sort of puffy. But she'll let you touch it and stuff, so it's not hurting her, I think it's just more irritated. I read online that you can put any antiseptic that you would use on an infant. As long as it doesn't say "for external use only" because the cat WILL most likely lick it. She is due for a nail trimming as well......but she's scratching it with her BACK feet, and I've never clipped those before!! This outgha be FUN!
I hate clipping my basset's nails. She's such a scaredy cat about it. I usually can only do a couple at a time. I'm taking advantage of having a 6'5 Marine here this week to hold her steady for me.Yeah clipping the kitten's nails involves wrapping her in a towel or blanket and listening to her make the most INSANE noises.

I want to walk on the beach. I love the seaside, it is my favorite. Right now we are brewing a storm in Cheyenne. We actually have a possibility of snow on Sunday. I have got to get out and cover the roses and the Jasmine. Hate this time of year!!! Man... walking on the beach just about kills me! Even when I was in teenage remission I could not walk far down the beach line while we were on vacation. Last year... when we went to the beach it was just all I could do to walk from the condo to the water front! And the ocean was right in front of us like a few 100 ft. I missed getting in the water, but the waves would have drownded me. I am such a weakling now. I was a weakling before, but even more so now. Just wondering... as I told hubby now that Abi Kitty thinks our bed is hers she will probably attack us if we ever decide to do that. The cat attacks my foot if I move it under the covers. She is always attacking someone or something!

Well all... I'm going to hit the shower and go to bed. I'm whooped. I had a school watchdog group meeting tonight, I processed another hour of school board videos, and then I sanded my bed with steel wool. I will put another coat of polyurethane on it tomorrow morning - hopefully all the dust will have settled by then!!! After that, I should just have one final sanding with ultra-fine steel wool to get the surface extra-smooth, and then I can wax/polish it and finally put it in my room!!! Woohoo I can't wait!!! After all the meetings and craziness this week, I'm gonna need to sleep!!!!!
