Good Morning all. Of course it is almost two am, and I am awake. Infusion went fine...all of the bone pain and pain in my feet is "normal for PA" so doc says. (Great!) WE are hoping to slip a two week in, since I missed mine for Sept. Gotta see what the insurance will do.
Hope all is well in the Neighborhood. I did check out the Kohls here, and I LOVE IT. Eleya and I went, and had fun...spent too much, but hey I got my son some shirts, daughter a pair of pants, bra, and a necklace. I actually got a pair of burkenstock looking shoes for twenty bucks and they are comfy. Then I came home ate and crashed again.

Hi all, Sorry to hear you cant sleep Shelly. I am just back from my Rheumys office and all is good. I had my xrays and have been approved for Enbrel, will be starting it as soon as my chest xrays come back ok. I had photo's taken of my possible vasculitis and a scan.
I have a lovely rheumatologist nurse, she expalined Sjogrens and Vaculitis to me in great detail and went over the pros and cons of enbrel, she has invited me to a meeting at the hospital to be part of the support group and given me a card for the enbrel support line.............I never had any of this with my old rheumys office.
The salad craving is still very much in control but hopefully when the fake saliva kicks ib i will feel better, although i am thinking of sucking ice for a while, the salad is really affecting my tummy. < =text/>_popupControl(); It is yaaaaaaaaaawn a little after 6am. Have to find the energy to go look at what is going to be our next car today. Danny took some pics of it for me since I have not been up to going out to look at it. We are getting a Subaru Outback Sport. Of course I have no clue what year because Danny forgot lol. Ugh. But can't really yell at him about it since we have been so stressed lately. But from looking at the pics he took of it for me it is in great condition. We also know it is in great mechanical condition. We are getting it from a friends dad.
Got our beast of a truck back to the tune of 0. Sigh.
We are having a few Indian Summer days this week. 77 today and 80 with showers and storms Friday and Saturday. Lisa...I hope the fake siliva kicks in quickly, and I am so glad your RD appt went well. This is a life learning experience for her. You and I have already talked about this on a more personal level and that is where I am going to leave it. You are a wonderful mother Shannon and I know for sure that the right words to tell Kelsay will just flow from you. Now there's a shocker! I opened up my last bill from CareMark, we received it like a few months back, and I just did not feel like opening it as I had no money to pay them and I already knew it was 0. Well... I open it to give the lady my acct # and WOW!! It was only ! I guess they FINALLY decided to give me back my overdraft fee I got charged because of them! Now I am richer!! Woohoo!!! Add that to my I have !! Ok miuns a or 2 for meds I am picking up today. Well... at least I have money for to buy groceries next week.
Oh well... need to clean up a little before my mom gets here. UGH! All this bending over to pick stuff off the floor is going to kill my hips and lower back. Why do they have to act up? Darn RAIN GO AWAY!!!

I have been a good girl and given up coffee in the morning. It was heck around here for about a week in the mornings tho lol. The girls begged me to drink some at one point lol. I still stand by I HAD to get a piece of that chocolate before the horde got to it lol. Ah yes packing. The bane of my existence. I have got packing for camping down to a science tho. It only takes me about 90 minutes to do it now. If I can keep the campsite organized (yeah right with the girls and Danny) it doesn't take me too long to pack that up either. I am in a HUGE amount of pain....took a whole pain pill DURING THE DAY. I feel like absolute CRAP, fluish, plugged up and just general...I have been pumped full of poisin. OK>>>PLEASE tell me my body will get used to the Remicade CRAP!!! I have to take my MTX, and that always makes me a little sick...so am I going to spend the weekend with the porcilain god. I NEVER drank, b/c I do NOT Like to get sick. This is CRAP!!! Sorry...I will go and lay down on the couch, and watch my life pass by me!!! You may have just caught a bug. It is that stupid time of year. I just got in the mail my explanation of benefits from my insurance company about my first infusion. Total cost for the one infusion...drum roll please....,990.00. Hang in there Shelly... I am sure you will feel better by next week. Take the MTX, lay down and get some rest. On that note... My whole body is taking tunrs hurting and swelling. This darn rainy weather, and get this!! It has not even rained here today, but just cloudy and looking like it is going to. I have yet to get around to cleaning up the house. My right arm was hurting from the bal of my shoulder all the way down to my fingers. Everything was throbbing and feeling like it was trying to go numb. I ALMOST took a Darvacet, that is how bad it was. But after I layed down and took a nap... I woke up and my arm was better. Now it is back to my hips again

Shannon, would you believe I had a great uncle named Governor? That was his first name, so you could really have said El-lo Govena to him! Gotta love southern names! I asked hubby if we were going to a haunted house this year, and he is SUCH a dam pansy... he said "HELL NO!". Yeah... it took me almost 7 years to get him to watch horror movies with me. He actually thought Friday the 13th movies & Halloween movies were scarey, until I talked him into watching a couple with me. Now he thinks they are stupid, I am thinking he only thinks they are stupid now, because he felt stupid for being afraid to watch them.

Karen I am glad you are back...they have been naughty, naughty, naughty...not that you would have stopped them, but ya need to know they will probably be naughty again tonight.
