< =text/>_popupControl(); Ok...since starting my infusions there has been a little improvement here and there.  Have a rotten ole cold right now so energy level down a bit. However, I have noticed my weather flares are WORSE right now.  My hands look like they could explode...and my feet...well...let's just say they are a lot like teenagers...angry and lazy lol. It's like I am not on anything when it comes to weather flares.  They haven't been this bad in I can't remember how long.  What the heck is up with this???

Oh no I am sorry your feet are so bad.  I noticed my hands and feet are doing the cold and hurt thing.  My guess because fall is here.  I am so NOT looking forward to winter.

Let's just hope it's a flare due to the cold and will go away when the cold you have goes too.

But if it keeps up I would def ask my doc what's going on.  Especially if your hands look like they could explode.

Sorry that you are flaring, Liz.

Obviously it's contagious because my hands are like sausages and my feet like baby elephants at the moment and it's hotter than normal than here. RA just never makes sense.

Aw Liz, I'm so sorry!  Luv the comment about the teenagers, tho.

I don't have any words of wisdom, except that maybe the flare is related to your having a cold, but I hope things get better real soon.

< =text/>_popupControl(); I'm a little extra achy due to the cold but nothing major.  It just seems that the weather flares lately have been horrid.  Shouldn't they be getting better???  I called for the dreaded pred yesterday and Danny is getting it for me today before he leaves for work.  Sigh.  Just when I lost 7lbs.  HERE COMES THE PRED MUNCHIES!!!!

I hope you feel better soon.It is nice to see you posting again. How are the rest of the family?

Liz...I have noticed the same thing.  When I had the infection and took pred.  I was in heaven, and then when I had to miss the infusion...I paid worse than I ever had.  The RD says at this point it seems like I am worse...well duh, but I am instructed to give it two more tries.

It is so frustrating when all you want to do is feel better, and then you get hit with other circumstances.  I am soooo very sorry.

Take care and rest.  shel

GS, I'm so sorry that you're flaring. Hopefully, you'll feel better when the cold is gone or when the pred. kicks in.

Liz, too bad you can't just ground those angry lazy feet to their room till they decide to be cooperative and respectful.

Hope you feel better soon.

Awww, sorry you're not feeling well! Hopefully it'll get better quickly!

I'm not sure what's up with me either. I have new places hurting that never have before. (shoulders/elbows/knees)??? Not sure what the deal is, I'm hoping it'll go away soon though! It's probably because I'm turning 35 today...another year older is like 10yrs older it seems now!I am just getting over some nasty virus that hit me. I also noticed my pain was probably twice as bad. My hands had a really severe burning sensation. I called my RD and got in a bit early for my 3 mo check up. Maybe I will get a name this time?? Hope you get some relief soon. My feet and hands hurt but figuring it out is complicated by edema and neuropathy. I do not want walk on these feet. Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Who knew parts of our body could be so rebellious. First of all -

HEELLLOOOOOOOOOOOOO DEANNA!!!

Secondly - Lizzie I think your pain is indicative of the apocalypse.

Lizzie, your mailbox is full...and I wrote you a lil novela, and it went *blip* into cyberspace.  S'alright, none of it made sense anyways.

How are the angry fingers doin?

thanks for the company all sorry, you feel so rotten. my feet are fine knock on wood. they need to make extra, extra, extra strength mylanta so my stomache can tollerate the pain meds. i asked the doc for cotisone drops for my eyes, he was sure the eye thing was allergies, gave me some stupid antihismine drops, well wrong answer they are not working. my kneck, my collarbone bothsides both shoulders.elbow right arm, wrist hand and fingers. tummy feels as if it's been kicked. yes it's in the air.
