Hi, Milly I thought I would put this in a new thread just in case anyone misses it. Welcome to the board.

i have crutches and a cane, been tested for everything. have

fibro.but know years later i have a little finger that requires vicoden. researched all night. i wook up in the middle of the night about a month ago and three fingers just hurt so bad they woke me up and i was already on pain meds. the little finger is very swollen the middle jiont is large, do you just get a nodule or a node over night. the finger is so swollen you can't bend it. and if i bump the finger wow. i have had alot of fatique. my wrist and elbow hurt and knees, but i have fibro so unfortunatly jiont and mucsle pain are normal to me at excrustating levels. my eyeballs hurt and light makes it worse. i thought maybe allergies caused the fatique and eye pain, but i'm not snezzing.

Hi Milly. I put this here so it can be seen as others may be able to help with your problems.

I get eye pain and its from iritis or uveitis which is common with RA and psoriatic arthritis. Its wise to get it checked asap as it can cause permanent eye damage

does anything help the eye pain and how long does it last.Welcome Milly. Glad you're here.I went to the doctors and he prescribed some cortisone drops. the pain went away almost straight away but the redness and headache took a few days to leave. They said its not good to use the drops for a long period of time as the drops themselves can cause problemsit's been a long hard lonely road with the fibro. getting shut in and not being able to get out of bed or take care of yourself some times. i have my good times of course. but if i have to deal with RA on top of it, well you all make it alot less scary. because i have alot of bad allergic reactions to hundreds of meds. So anything medical gets complicated with me. so just thanks for being here for me.It is really scary starting medications with such bad side effects. I used to take methotrexate and it was awful. two days out of the week I would be laid up in bed. And the other days not much better. I was actually glad when my rheumy said to go off it . It was causing liver damage. I then went on Arava which worked quite well for over a year just recently I have started enbrel and its fantastic. Hopefully one day you will get the relief you deserve also.i hope so. i went from an injection molding press operator to freight broker. we adapt. i can dial the phone with my left thumb if i have to. or type with my left thumb if need be. i can even get a nap between calls i just lay the portable phone close on load ringer. and catch the paper work up when i get the chance. with fibro they can't really do anything to much. i mean on the bad days the pain is stronger then the meds and the stiffness is beyond the muscle relaxer. i even tryed shots in the spine. ultimatly the doctors say thats all we can do. it goes away, it comes back. so hopefully i will get the relief i deserve someday. i usually opt for a sharpe mind over pain. i hate to just sleep all the time. but sometimes i have to give in. i don't mean to sound gloomy. i am proud of my self and the way i have adjusted to living with my problem. But yes scary is the word of the day.
