I have been following this story since I was first diagnosed but there's been very little information about it. A vaccine for RA
has been "coming down the pipe" for 10 years now. There was someone who
came here briefly who was involved in some trials from this same
researcher in Queensland, Australia (I wonder how that went? I wish
they would pop in and let us know).
This is interesting because the researcher is not working through any
pharmaceutical company, but trying to start her own to market the
vaccine---which will basically amount to a cure.
Do we dare to hope no one kills this electric car? Maybe we should all
raise awareness this is going on so it can't be buried? How can we help
this come true?
I don't know how to take this, but Nissan had some electric car news today...

OMG!!!! I am totally excited about this! I am going to have to forward this article to my sister. How many trials does it take for a drug to go thru to get approval? This would be great if it works!http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=dendritic+cell+ther apy+for+rheumatoid+arthritis

For anyone interested, or who hasn't already visited these sites, at top are a few dealing with dendritic cell therapy.
Also, here is some info about Dr. Thomas.
Gimpy, I'll see if I can find the trial, which she conducted, that you mentioned.

PS: re-edited to ask Gimpy, is this the Rheumavax vaccine? I note that it is mentioned in the "visit" link, so am assuming that the info there is current.
