I just wanted to update you all,because i have been on this board since the beggining of my journey. Well (cross my fingers) I am starting to feel better on the enbrel after 12 weeks being on it. So there is hope out there. This journey started with MTX,and pred. than increased mtx,added enbrel,still on pred.Felt worse than ever! doc took me off mtx, i kept taking pred and enbrel, the last couple weeks i have noticed i can get out of bed with out pain or stiffness, this has happened to me about three out of 7 days, until my next injection.So i have been trying to decrease my prednisone which is where i am at now. But i just wanted to let those of you who have encouraged me that i MAY be out of the woods(regarding pain and fatiuge) I sure hope I can have more good days to come....... This is a wonderful baord ,You old timmers that stay on here and help us newbies with the same compliants that all newbies have,but you still encourage us and teach us. Thanks sooo much. and to the newbies Give the meds time to work, you can feel better!
kel thankyou for the positive out look. i could use some today my left hand is starting to act up. i'm in a state of shock. i still wonder is there anyone out there with fibro and RA. How does that nasty combo work.
Kel - Yay!! I am soooooo pleased for you.Congrats!! I am so glad the Enbrel is working for you. Just take that pred taper slowly.
