< =text/>_popupControl(); Bleargh it's morning.  Hope everyone has a good day today!

Have to clean the house today but have the minions home to help me out since it is Saturday.  Danny is working today 1pm-9pm.  Bleh.

Going to be a warm one here today.  85 degrees today.  It is so weird to have run my a/c in October lol.

Meeeehhhh.

Yup. That's my morning.

< =text/>_popupControl(); Ummmm....that's just your brain cuz it's 23!!!

I don't have too many more days to say that.  Gotta get in my shots while I still can.

I LOVE YOU KATIEKINS!!!!

*grumbles something incoherent*

8 Days bitches....

< =text/>_popupControl(); 8 days a week....i loooooooOOOOOoooooove yooooooooou.

You might be too young to pick up on who sang that.

Yup. I'm not an old fart. Mwuahahahaha

Justin and I are debating on what to eat this AM. Hurm. Oatmeal is calling my name....
Well all, it's a beautiful day in the Chi-town 'burbs.  The husband's 52nd birthday is today.  He wants an Xbox so he can play Halo 3.  Oh HELL no.  We are a Nintendo house; I don't need another video game system in this mess to corrupt their feeble minds.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jasmines hubby. At least you will get 2 hours of peace and quiet while hubby is at the movies, you can go slay the demons

Nearly happy ( 8 days) birthday to Katie....."wondering whats a good present"

Have tons of cleaning company coming.  DD getting ready to spend fall break at her dads.  Will just be me and youngest don't know if I can stand that.  lol

Happy Birthday to Jas's hubby.  I don't wanna talk bdays.

Guess we will be doing a lot of the time warp, chicken dance and YMCA.  I knew I shouldn't have taught him those.  LOL

Jaz...happy birthday to your hubby.  Hope it is a good one!  I am so anxious to see the new bed. Please post pictures.

Kaite...Just say the Eisly brothers(for the song)  that's right I am a fart!!!  And you will be too, cause all of the perkiness starts going down south at 24.  So, enjoy the perkiness for EIGHT more days!!!!

Liz...If we could get the little stinkies to work, I mean really work it would take about an hour to have the whole house clean.  WE are going to have a meeting...and I will be opening the Whoop a** on them.  There are too many jerms lurking around, 'cause they can't "see wrappers"  on the counters, tables and floor.  I guess I am not old, cause my sight is better than theirs.

Lisa, I love when the doggies come back from being groomed.  Even their breath is better.  I have to scrape up money to do this before Christmas.

It is supposed to be cool today...so I will go outside and make heads and tails out of my flower garden and cut the rose bushes, before the snow tomorrow.  (snow tomorrow...I had my a/c on two days ago).

Well, enough jabbering...to work I go!!!!

SNOW!!! IN October??? goodness I hope its not catching. We have laid turf and im hoping we dont get any frost.

Robin - YMCA Dance is the fun one. I just cant get my arms up for it anymore

Yes, YMCA is very fun.  Of course I am stupid...8 days a week is the beattles not the Eisley Bro.  Sorry...more of a brain fog than normal.  Too many stomach issues.  Well, I lasted about ten minutes weeding around the flowers.  I came in the house in so much pain...I was crying...half of a pain pill and some relax time...and I will go back out.

I was thinking oh so the beatles did remakes back then too.  LOL

Yes the dancing is fun when you are up for it.  Where do the little ones get all that engery.  (well except when it's time to clean their room).

Shelly I hope relaxing will help.

Good evening everyone. The weather has been fantastic today. Lots of washing blowing on the line. I sniff it when it comes out of the machine, when its on the line, when it comes off the line, as I fold it up.... I've got a 'sniffing' compulsion. Hubby and son think I'm mad but I just cant help myself.

Pin... we didnt lay turf I planted seed and my grass has been coming through wonderfully. I too am praying that the frost stays away for the rest of October.

Shelly... also hope your tum feels rested if you relax.

AGAIN... SNOW in OCTOBER... is that normal or is it down to global warming (that doesnt make sense does it?)

We planted seed in our front garden and its taken really well, we have a lovely lush lawn, we turfed the back lawn as i didnt think the seed would have time to take this late in the year.

Shelly- you sound like you need to just rest and take it easy for a bit. I know its frustrating when there are things to be done but you will make yourself worse. ( I sound like my mother

Its a standing joke that when I go and visit friends and family they all say they are having a visit from the Queen. Some of the husbands say its the only time the house gets cleaned from top to bottom.... I'm a clean freak too... and I'm so lucky that the people who I love are soooo tolerant. I always joke that I've left my white gloves at home!

My gardner (he does the lawn and the hedges), said the latest you should put down seed would be the second week of Sept.... otherwise the frost will get it. The new stuff is such a dark green colour, really lush. If the weather stays this wonderful it ight even need cutting before the end of season.

It's my hubbie's 55th today too -- he want to go to Sushi-Tai - kelp, fish, no MSG!  LOLHappy Birthday to your hubby too justsaynomore.wow. i am feeling so much better pain wise today. Tummy is better also. i still took a pain pill, difference is it is working. i will take that. i will live like grounhog day. and do everything the same as i did yesterday. Because whatever worked i needed. it is just a rest day. i got some different allergie meds. and an antibiotic. like i said i know i still have some pain under the pain meds. But yesterday, the pain was stronger than the meds. so that is a big drop in pain. i am just going to catch up my rest today. Ha

pppphhhheeewww it's done.  Although I noticed I have some white mold on my lilac bush.  I will trim it and leave it for winter, and pray that it will be ok this summer.

All I did was two out of three flower beds, and cut back the rose bushes.  I need to get some floral wire and pin up the Wisteria.  I think I will cover the jasmine for the winter, since it is it's first winter.  I need to bring in my potted rose bushes, but hubby and son will do that later.  It felt so good to be outside, but I am ready for lunch and a nap....I would love a nap right now.  I think I am going to make lunch and then take the other half of the pain pill and watch a movie...yep, who am I kidding....I will sleep!!!

Milly...I am glad that you are doing better today.  My tummy is still a little mad at me, but I am  getting there.

JSNM---Happy birthday to your hubby too!!!!

Lisa, I even smell the clothes out of the dryer.  I love clean clothes.  Don't ever feel bad about smelling clean clothes...I would really consider you a nut if you smelled the dirty ones.

Yep...snow in October.  It won't now because I am ready for it.  If I hadn't done the gardens...yep it would have.  We shall see tonight.  The wind is blowing though and that is what they predicted...that it would start out warm and then the wind would blow and bring the storm.  Stay tuned...I will tell all.  I just can't believe I had the a/c on two days ago.

YAY Work will not be as busy tonight. YAY again.

Shame shame shame on me!! I forgot to pick up my perscription of Flexeril today and I'm OUT!! Just notised your post Shelly41, Hope you see this. I get alot of stomache problems. Somedays i can handle the pain meds other days i cannot. So it isn't necessarily the medicines fault. You have to make yourself eat when you don't want to. You need a healthy diet. Eat your meals, and keep a snack handy for meds you take between meals. And treat any other conditions like sinus infections right away. You would think that antibiotics and veggetable juice would make my tummy worse, i bought some oatmeal cookies just to have something handy to put in my tummy before meds. and i ate my meals. i made myself. and i feel so much better. Because food is the last thing you want when your tummy is feeling rotten.Everytime the clouds lift from the other side of the inlet the snowline is a little closer to sea level. It's a pretty dramatic shift today, not just the big mountains, but the foothills too. We can usually count on a little snow by Halloween, but always was happy when I could drive the girls around town without having to worry about getting stuck in some strangers driveway. It's only frosted a couple of times, but the birch leaves sure are dropping.

If only the laundry wasn't so stiff, when it's dried outside. DD17 said she hated the smell of the detergent and dryer sheets I was buying so she bought her own, sniffed and sniffed in the store until she found the right combination. I really pooh poohed her demands, but when I dried off with one of the towels she'd washed with her clothes, I was amazed at the difference. When you're trying to save money, you don't buy designer detergent and softener.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I FEEL LIKE DOODIE!!!!

WHY WHY WHY WHY!!!! I WAS DOING SO GOOD!!!!!

Oh Katie, I am so sorry that you feel like doodie!  I was so hoping you could make it until after your birthday.....eight days!!!  Then you'll be old.  So sorry...

You can come duct tape my knees mouths too.  Yep...that joint shot was a dooosy!!!  It is still screaming.  Doc said...I love you people with arthritis...you don't flinch or even cuss when you get a shot like that.  I said...you don't know what I said in my mind.....or what I am saying now!!!

LOL!!! We don't flinch beacuse it's a nice distraction from the REST of the pain we're having.

I sure hope that shot works for ya!

ya, me too.  It is a series of three and you're right about the distraction.  Although I can feel the storm coming in.

The a/c's are out...I hope it doesn't decide to be summer again.  Well, got to go clean the floor.  Be back later.

Oh man, I just got CHEWED THE FRICK OUT by a crazy guest. It was hysterical, because she was *so* very wrong.

When I first started working here, it would bother me when guests would yell at me. Now I either laugh at how silly it is, or I just go "whhhaaaa???" because some of the crap they come up with is just insane!!!

We could stand and laugh at her together.  Yep, most things like that are very stupid and usually their fault.  I hate that.  How DARE they yell at my Katiedid!!!  I beat the crap out of them!!!!

Haha we just got ANOTHER ONE!! Weekends are always "lively"

You have to keep in mind, our guests mainly come from AL, AR, TN, KY, you know, all the bass-akwards redneck states.

KATY JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW MARYLIN MANSON SUCKS.

How dare you!!! I might have to fight you now.

OH YOU AND JUSTIN ARE A GOOD LOOKING COUPLE.

JUST FROM LISTENING TO YOU I BELIEVE HE MAY BE ABLE TO DO A LITTLE BETTER.

Yeah we worked HARD on that site and forum. It's just too bad we're all either too sick or too busy to really keep with it right now. Crunchy's been SOOOOO busy with work and the kids. And poor Lizzie (grammaskittles) is just so so badly flaring right now. And I just can't do it all by myself. I can't focus and keep up without some help. :(

Thank you for the compliments! I know I have a good catch with Justin!

We got a huge crew at our house today to do our haunted house build.  A lot of hard working people, who came to pound out as much as we can in a day.  They were here at 10:00 am and some of them are still here hanging out and talking design ideas.

Around 3:30 Tori and I went to make the third run of the day to Home Depot for some washers.  We pulled out of our driveway and started down the hill and saw haze in front of us.  The further we went the thicker it seemed to be and we could smell smoke.  We looked back up the hill and saw billowing black smoke rolling skyward.  It was in a stretch of open land with high tension power lines, and the smoke appeared to be right behind our house.  We turned around and tried to track it down, circling around to the other side of the hill, following the power lines.  We wanted to make sure it wasn't just someone burning brush in the their backyard.  In the meantime, I called my son on the cell phone and told him to go back in the woods behind our house and see if he could see it.  He came out of the woods with a terrified look on his face, and had already called 911.

It was a brush fire right behind our property.  Everything is so dry, we haven't had rain in weeks, and it is a tinderbox around here.  To make a long story shorter, it turned out to be a five alarm fire, and we had more than a hundred firemen, firetrucks, ambulances in our yard.  The fire auxilliary showed up and set up a water relief station in our backyard, and there was a rescue crew providing aid to overheated firemen suffering smoke inhalation in our yard too!  The temps were in the 90's and the fire was really hot -

Several acres burned and the area is still smoldering and breaking out in small fires.  DEP was here until about 9:00 pm, and will be back at 8:00 am in the morning!  The fire came so close to our barn and was moving fast.  It was REALLY intense, and very scary.  The fire was less than a football field's distance frorm our house!  They closed our street for hours and set up a temporary water supply pool in the middle of the road to pump water from (we are in a rural area so there are no fire hydrants).

Anyway, in spite of all that we got tons of work done on the haunted house.  We are out in the yard spray painting our "Oz" head with firemen running by with firehoses.  (By the way, my daughter and I had a GREAT time sightseeing as these handsome young firefighters in uniform went by!)  WOW!  Makes an old lady smile!

I'll post some pictures tomorrow of the fire fighters/equipment etc.  Too tired tonight.  But boy we are some lucky, lucky people.  Thank god for those wonderful firefighters!

My goodness!  I am glad you are all right and that your home is safe.   did you take any pictures of the firemen. i told you i can't get out. anyway glad you got to see. LOL

oh, Karen that is terrible.  I am so glad you all are ok.  I hate the threat of fire.  But good golly...that was close and made my heart skip a bunch.

Darrel...Katie's gonna kick your a**.  She's a great catch...and they look perfect together.  I know you were just joking, but I think Katie has superpowers, and I don't want you to get caught by them.

I gotta go find something to eat.  I gotta take all my pills.

Karen!! Can you ever have a dull moment?? Sheesh!!!!

You BETTER post pictures!! I should have taken some of the one down by my house, but I'm a lazy little girl.

Went to the fair Friday. Had fun. I got to ride my 2 favorite rides, scrambler & tilt-a-whirl. Hubby had to pick all 167lbs of me and put me in the scrambler seat, as it was too high up for my right knee & right hip to get myself on it. I felt bad about it, but after the ride started up, I forgot all about him having to pick me up and put me in it.

Daughter FINALLY got to ride her Ring of Fire and said "IT WAS COOL!!!" She rode it 3 times. She always gets her moneys worth on those wrist bands

We got to ride the Farris Wheel with the grandola for free, the dude for got to get our tickets. So that is how I got to ride the scrambler!!

I sat down on the benches and picnik tables most of the time. No swelled ankle feeling like it was broke before we left, but my right knee was swelled big time, from walking on it.

On that note... our car is a POS!!! It started overheating agan last night on the way home, and we just got it out of the shop that same day!

I told hubby we just need to trade it in and get a new car. But we cannot

Hubby now gets ever other friday off. Yep... one day of less mulah.

And I am not even going into much more. It is just a sh*tty 2nd half of the year.

Hahahaa can ya'll tell what I have been stuck watching today?! 2nd half... when do I get to have my half time!! FOOTBALL! I HATE FOOTBALL!!!!

I remember when I was about 4 years old we lived with most of my siblings & my crazy uncle. Well... I remember they would shew us kids off to bed. We knew something was up. Well... after a few times of them shewing us off, we snuck back downt he hall and peaked around the corner, and we got caught. They told us they were watching naked football. Which was actually the PlayBoy channel

So everytime they got ready to watch the playboy channel they would say time to go to bed, it is time for naked football.

Hey Everybody

How is everyone?

WELL I AM GLAD TO HEAR YOU HAD A GOOD TIME AT THE FAIR

I ALWAYS LIKED THE SCRAMBLER TOO. I WILL GIVE YOU SOME AMMO TO PICK ON ME ABOUT I CAN HANDLE ANY RIDE AT AMUSEMENT PARKS THEY DON'T BOTHER ME OR SCARE ME. IT'S ALL FUN I CAN NOT HANDLE THE LITTLE KIDDIES TEA CUP RIDE MAKES ME SICK AS A DOG.

THERE YOU GO KATY OPEN DOOR BLAST AWAY IT'S ONLY FAIR.

Well... I forgot to mention I was kinda freaking out on the Ferris Wheel grandola. Yeah... hubby was laughing at me, because I was getting all antsay on a farris wheel. I am afraid of heights. I will not ride anything that even comes off the ground.

I am a pansy, when it comes to rides. I told daughter if I got on the Ring of Fire, I would get on alive and by the time the ride was over I would be dead from a heart attack. Yep... they would be carrying my dead carcous off the ride, because I killed over after the first 20 secs on the ride.

I am not even going to go into how many piles of puke I seen in the middle of the walk ways. It was Just nasty... people need to learn to hurl in grass not where everyone walks

If it is not the candy corn kicking yo' ass, it is the bladder infections

I am ok... been better. Counting down the days to "needle" day.

I have been taking my darvocet... my right hip will not let me sleep. It is just soo painful and annoying!

This bladder infection has kicked my a**! Could be because I let it go for a week before getting the antibiotics and the AZO

Glad you had a good time at the fair but sorry you're paying for it now. That Stinks

 Thanks Milly

Yep, my mom was here and I slept most of my time with her away. We went and got her Thrusday evening. Friday I slept until 3pm and we left for the fair around 4pm did not get home until almost 1am. Then I slept until 11am today and she had to be back home before 2pm to go to a friends party.

So... I missed spending time with my mommy. Oh well... there is always next week I hope! We are having son's 3rd b-day party next saturday.

you have fibro and osteo. I think from the fatique i probably have RA, but don't have my blood work back. How long does an osteo flare up last in your hands? I'm just trying to fiqure out what is wrong with me. My main swelling is in the middle finger jionts. But the whole hand and wrist are swelling, now today 5 weeks into this a couple of the top finger jionts are hurting my hand in general is more swollen and tight and stiff the swelling has moved in both directions. i have the pain pills at a good level and i've been on the board to keep my mind off of it. i hate waiting and not knowing. I have fibro so just because other jionts hurt that doesn't tell me much i can only go by the swelling. I researched alittle. it is rare but possible to wake up with a bochards node. And they do not usually hurt but can. You don't usually have swelling with osteo but you can, and a bouchards node is rare in itself. Thats just what i read. I really do think it is RA and not osteo and the area where the fingers attach to the hand are really getting involved today. well here is something new. i have little pink spots on the inside of my hands, the top of the fingers both pinkies and ring fingers, they look like a rash but don't itch. wonder what thats all about.
