Well, Thursday is my first Rheumatologist appt., and I already know from blood work that I am RF positive and my sed rate was above normal. Soooooo...I am wondering if anyone know's what kind of tests I should expect the Dr. to want me to have done? More blood work, x-rays, etc...I just want to be fully prepared, ya know??? Thanks in advance, Staci

Staci,  I had the works.  MRI's, bone scans, urine analysis, all different blood tests.  I have good insurance though.  Long story short, I am glad I did.  I now know where there is damage and it seems to be very conclusive that I have ra.  RD says aggressive ra

None of the tests hurt so if you have the insurance, find out all you can.  Get baseline numbers.  Good luck.

I WAS SERO NEGATIVE SO mri'S OF MY HANDS  LED TO FINAL DIAGNOSIS.  IF YOU'VE ALREADY HAD ALL THAT, IT WILL BE DISCUSSION ON MEDS.  WE'VE TRIED THEM  ALL SO WHEN YOU FIND OUT WHAT YOU'RE ON COME ON BACK!

I HATE IT FOR YOU GIRL....RA IS  N O FUN!!!!
