Hi all, there was an article in our local paper about mold spores (even in Arizona) it was a lengthy article but I'll try to get the particulars and post them. (this can cause serious illness)

Hi Pip, don't know if this is the news article Lynda was referring to but I read this: www.cnn.com/HEALTH/library/DS/00773.html. about mold spores and sinusesMy son was allergic to mold (it was in the walls of our basement along the Truckee River in Reno!!) He had terrible ear aches, infections in is ustation tubes, etc. Now I'm wondering about that dang mold???he was sick a lot!! Ugh. Parenting is so hard, isn't it!! Lynda
Mold was the biggest problem around here after the hurricanes. The daycare I worked at was built in the 70s, and was on stilts over a retention pond. NICE. When we came back after hurricane Ivan, aaalllll of our kids got sick. And bad. We had to close down for a few days and have the building inspected, they found THICK black mold in our air vents. ICK!!! No wonder everyone was so sick!!! They cleaned it out, and came back to check on it every month for a few months. Scary stuff though!!!!!
