OT-Scenes from Brush Fire Fun | Arthritis Information

Okay, I am ready to post a few fire photos.  For those of you who missed it, yesterday the brushy area and woods behind our barn caught on fire yesterday while we were in the middle of our Halloween build.  It was a huge event - 5 alarm fire and burned 15 acres - very close to our barn, and if it made it to our barn, our house would have been next in line.  Thank God for the gorgeous fireman who saved our property!

Now I'm worried, the fire dept. is going to burn an old house in the woods behind our house next week for practice, the property joins ours back thereKewl pix, you were very lucky.  Any idea how it got started?  < =text/>_popupControl(); Whew that was a close one.  Gotta love those gorgeous firemen!!!

Thanks, guys.  Yeah, I wish I had gotten better photos of the firemen - I was too busy eyeballing them to get my camera!

They think the fire was started by some of the guys who ride back by the power lines on ATV's or dirt bikes.  Everything is so dry, it may have just been a hot muffler from a dirt bike that sparked it.  We will probably never know.  I just know I am glad we spotted it!

WHY ARE THERE NO FLAAAMMMEESSS IN THESE PICS??????

You disappoint.

I'm kidding. I'm glad it's all over now!

What some people won't do to spread a little eye candy around their yard! LOL

Seriously, glad everything turned out OK, and that there was no damage to your property. I would have been scared out of my wits!

LMAO GALE!!

Yeah now that I think about it, you're right!! Karen was back there in the woods earlier, starting the fire. Just so she could drool a little. Sheesh

Darn, you figured out my secret!

There was a particularly good looking fireman walking by and I gave my daughter the overt "heads up" look.  We both just stopped working and stood there with our mouths hanging open as he walked by.  I said to my daughter, "I feel faint, I think I need to be resusitated"!

But I must say, there was something for everyone.  My sons spotted a very cute young woman paramedic they were very impressed with also.

Karen, I am glad everything is ok, but there must be a better way to get eye candy to your house.  Thank goodness nothing on your property was burned.  It does look angry from the last picture.

Here are some fire shots - just got them tonight!

Glad its over and it wasnt as bad as it could have been...But next time....get some good pics of the HOT firemen?  Come on its the least you could do

I didn't want to look too obvious, snapping photos of the hot guys, ya know.  I was busy filing them into my memory box for use later.
