Hi everyone,

I know I haven't posted the last few days. What's happening is my hands are going numb all the time and I just can't type. They are also really painful.

Thank god, thanks to a darling friend so voice activation software is coming my way and that will make my life on the computer a whole lot easier.

So, I shall catch up with posts when my hands are behaving and anyone that would expect a PM from me, know I will catch up with you too.

It is kind of hard to hit the keys when you can't feel both your hands.

Hugs to all.

Sorry sweetie!!! LOVE YOU LOTS!!! rest much! Ta Katie, it's pissing me right off. I hate not being able to communicate on the board.  I know you do hun. I hope you feel better soon! Cordy, feel better soon.  Miss you on the forum.  You're lucky to have voice activation on it's way.  Will make it easier for you and we can have our Cordy back.  LindyHi Cordy dear, OH my gosh, we are so worried about you. That sounds serious about the numb fingers.....I wish I was there to help you. Lyndaso sorry you're having such a hard time right now!

Cordy

Yep hands can be unforgiving, but the voice recognition software is great. It's a good way to break some speed-writing records, so look after your voice!

Take care

And your Cordy, would definitely like to be back.  Hi Cordy, I was wondering where you were, I am so sorry to hear about your hands, have u seen your doc about this?  I getthis in my feet and apparently it is coming from problems in my lower back and also a certain degree of peripheral neuropathy which the Arava caused!!!!!!  Let me know how you are, missing your posts, Janie.  PS Hope Neve is well too!

Hi Cordy, sorry you are feeling so bad, having hand problems is terrible as we rely on them so much. Voice recognition is great for this. I hope you feel better soon and I hope Neve is well.

Take care

Lisa

Cordy,

When it rains it poors as they say. I hope you get some relief soon. Is this new since starting the Rituxin infusions?  You have had a realy hard time of late and we will miss you but understand as well. Take care of both of you.

Jay

No, Jay not new. Old but worse at the moment. Bloody RA! It has just gotten to it's worst point where it has halted my typing.

No, it has not been the easiest time lately.

Nevie is good. Otherwise I am the same.

One finger typing is so slow.

Hi Cordy,

Sorry to hear that you're having another RA related issue.  I hope it gets better soon.

Hugs,

Steph

cordy,

Hoping you recover quickly.  We miss you!

Phats

Cordy, that's a shame about your hands.  How frustrating that must be!!! I understand the voice activation software is nothing short of amazing.  We look forward to hearing from you very soon and I hope your hands feel better. I am so sorry to hear about you hands.  I hope the pain is gone and you have no need for the voice activation software.  But if you do I am glad you are getting it.Hi Cordelia, Its so hard to not have use of your hands. After I came out of induced coma my hands were scrunched up into balls and I could not straighten fingers. I had to have therapy done on them for nearly three months . my husband did everything for me .brushed my hair/teeth, even wiped me when I went to the toilet . I can really feel for you. I hope that it gets better really quick and that your rheumy can offer some sort of relief. I will get my good friend who is 92 to do some absent reiki for you. You never know it may help. will be thinking of you. Ally cat

I hope you get some relief for those poor hands soon.

Cordy, I miss you terribly and hope that you get some rest, and that it will resolve itself.  I hate that you had a horrible Sept. and now into Oct.  I am soooo sorry.

Thank God for new technology!!!  I can't wait to hear from you again.

Take care...dear friend...until then! shel

Cordy, so sorry to hear that your hands are misbehaving.  I hate when they go numb like that, and it seems just as the feeling comes back, they go numb again.  But mine have been much better with the Lyrica.  Hope you find some relief.

And I'm glad you're getting the voice activation software...I hear it's gotten a lot better over the years.  Can't wait until you're back.  Hang in there.

Ta, everyone
