Is anyone taking this or has anyone tried it? I read somewhere (maybe here) that it helps with getting rid of any cooties in your system or something like that. I finally found it in liquid form at a health food store but havent started taking it yet. The pamphlet that  came with it didnt say much.I am not sure if this is a valid concern, but they have been warning people that grapefruit juice can interfere with your medications.  I can't remember if the juice makes the meds weaker or stronger, but there have been warnings from pharmacies and docs.  You might want to check it out owie.

I just started it today.  It was on yesterday's list...alas.  Can't vouch for it yet.

This is from  http://www.worldhealth.net/p/aadr-grapefruit-seed-extract.ht ml

SIDE EFFECTS/CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Grapefruit seed extract is not associated with any side effects, drug interactions, or contraindications. However, a number of medications should not be taken with grapefruit juice itself. These include certain immunosuppressants, cholesterol-lowering drugs, and antihistamines - if in doubt consult a physician. Furthermore, when taken as recommended it does not destroy the ‘healthy’ bacteria that reside in the gastro-intestinal tract.

I think it's grapefruit itself that can cause some reactions.
