I'm not real good at taking my Plaquenil exactly 12 hours apart. Morning dose is between 8-9 and evening dose is about 6-7. Do you think that makes much difference? Apparently it doesn't matter at all with the MTX because many of us have been told we can split the dose, but I'm not sure about the Plaq. What do you all do?
I take two 200mg of plaquenil a day and I take them both at the same time.
Hmm, I never even considered I'd be able to do that because my directions say 2X a day. That's something I should ask the RD about, I guess. It sure would be easier that way. I take two 200mg once a day, as well. You CAN split them up, but you don't have to (that's the story I get from my RD, anyway). So it's probably okay if you don't take them exactly 12 hours apart.
