OT sorta - The Sweetest Thing | Arthritis Information

I just had to share....

A couple checked in yesterday, for the girl's birthday. They are so very young. Might be younger than me even! She is disabled. She has a walker and thick braces on her legs. I have never seen her without a smile. She says hi to everyone. When he looks at her, he is SO in love. He brought her here to shop at the outlet mall. They just got back and they had to use a LUGGAGE CART for all the things they bought!! Once again, she was just oozing smiles! And they are not staying in a handicap suite, so she is somehow making it through that room and into the shower all on her own. Oh, she also can't be but 4'8" or so. It's just so sweet to see him so happy with her, so accepting. And so wonderful to see her living her life without letting anything stop her!

I thought I'd share as it made me smile, and somehow made me proud. Hehe I love seeing things like that!

That's very sweet, Katie. I love to see couples in love, too.

Sorry about your ticket! I am 59 and have had one ticket in my life...35 years ago. Of course my kids say it's because I drive like a little old lady...oh! I AM a little old lady

Hope your day gets better, Katie.

Hugs, Nini

LOL Thanks Nini!!

Yeah, this couple is just SO CUTE. And it's so wonderful to see someone not letting a disability get in their way. It is inspiring! That's the word I was looking for earlier! They came down to ask about places to eat, and as they walked away she slipped a little. He just stood there and patiently waited, and she started laughing and said "hold on, or I'm gonna fall" She righted herself and they took off. They must have a great understanding! He doesn't seem to baby her at all, and she seems to want it that way! It's just GREAT. She's so strong and I think it's amazing :)

Sometimes it's so easy to let bad things get us down, or get in our way, or could our views. Seeing people like her really makes me take stock of my own life sometimes, and stop fretting over little things. I have a lot to be thankful for, ya know?

Awwww that is just so darn sweet.

Seeing things like that makes me know that there is still good in the world today.
