Well, I had a very lazy sleep in. I am feeling better than I have for a long time...I am praying that it stays. I am not out of pain, and of course I overdid yesterday, but I am still better than I have been in oh maybe a year! So, hubby is making breakfast burritos, and then we are going to Church.
Oh, and it is SNOWING, and has been for a couple of hours. Yep, summer is over!

We had son's b-day party yesterday. Yeah... I made the cake. It was quite crappy... if I do not say so myself. Son while it was cooling decided to take a BIG chunk outta the center of the cake so... I had to use half a tub of frosting to fill in the hole! I had to use 2 tubs of frosting on the cake! Oh and when hubby was getting the cake outta the cake pan to let it cool... it broke but it was mendable, until son took a big chunk outta it. It was pretty good cake.... much better than the store bought cake and much cheaper I might add!
Oh well... I might be back online later tonight not sure. I have been in the bed... as my right leg & hip are still acting funky. Hip hurts, muscles a twitching, but my knee is not that swelled. I can see my knee cap! That is a PLUS!
well... I am off this chair is hurting my hip.
I love my golden retriever, she is such a softie , i just hate the hair shedding. My westie is a cutie too and she doesnt moult.How old is your retriever? Shandy ( thats her name) is almost 11 and has arthritis too .

Thanks for the b-day wishes. I think I got some pretty neat stuff this birthday. Actually I love and will use everything I got this time around. So other than one nasty a$$ cold it was a good day.
Lisa, your son really is a cutie! I love the bean bag, too. I can see why the dogs took it over. Many years ago, I had a cocker spaniel and a bean bag. Of course, the bean bag became hers immediately.
My nephew was just a baby then, under 1 year.(He is now 26) They were both laying on the bean bag together and my dog was just a puppy. We looked over at them and the baby had given my doggie his bottle and the dog was in heaven, sucking on that bottle! We still have a picture of it somewhere.
I don't know why your picture reminded me of that story, after all these years, but it was really funny.
I have always wanted a golden retriever, but I'm so limited in my activity, now, I don't think I could give it the physical activity it needs. Your dogs are beautiful!

My day wasn't so great. Slept alot, and Justin's at home feeling icky, because he pushed himself too hard last night. So now I'm at work, doing the overnight shift. Because the last thing I want is for him to end up sicker! I'd die. I NEED my Justin, and I need him WELL.
Tomorrow though, tomorrow I WILL eat at IHOP and I will be messy and drool and get sticky with syrup and be HAPPY. And I WILL wander aimlessly around the mall and drag him into EVERY store my little heart desires. And I WILL go to the park and take cutsey couples pictures of us.

Yeah I think the pamprin kinda kicked in. For a while there it felt like there was a bumble ball rolling around inside me.
I was sitting at the computer, feeling fine and dandy; because now I have no regular PMS symptoms, no cramps before hand, or anything - and I'm sitting there, right? WOOSH. yes, WOOSH it came out. I thought I was going to cry. It was one of those change all your clothes and throw them in the washer moments. *sigh* Ah, to be a woman.
