Justin's been sleeping on and off, so far so good. Girlie thing...eeeehhhhh I dunno. I may be postponing(sp) my birthday outage until my next set of days off. The bed and the heating pad are calling my name. We'll see how he's feeling when I get home, and how I feel and go from there.

Who wants to wake up Danielle for me this morning? Lizzie I am with you on the girlie thing. I am SO GLAD I am finished with that crap! Lizzie and Katie yep, I guess I do need to slow down a bit, but this is the first time in YEARS that I felt ok*Saturday* that is. I just wanted to take my life back a little, but yes, maybe I am getting it. It took two hours for me to get warm and go back to sleep. I hate waking up in PAIN! Yeah you can throw things at her. The stuff she left on her bedroom floor that I tripped all over trying to get to her bed to wake her up. Got a bulldozer?? I swear she booby traps the area around her bed so I can't get to her and wake her up. My dog ate something yesterday he really liked but today it doesn't really like him. I think I am going to suffocate. I could shove his butt out on the balcony all day to save our delicate olfactory senses...but I don't have the heart to do it in this rainy, damp, and 60 degree weather. I had to drive Tori home last night, and after that I just watched a little TV and went to bed - at 11:00! I was tired. It was another full weekend of Halloween preparations, and we went shopping at our new Target. Just wish I had some money to shop with. . .
Have a good day everyone. I'm off to make phone calls to set up hotel rooms for Tori's wedding. Since she has her dog in the wedding, things are a little more complicated - a lot of the nicer hotels won't allow pets. I can tell this is going to evolve into a nightmare, I can just feel it - the grooms family all want to stay in the same hotel as the wedding party - and want the group rate, of course. I refuse to front money for them, that's for sure - they are going to have to make their reservations on their own! With everyone the MOG was saying we needed to save a room for, we're talking about 25 rooms!!!! Karen, actually I like it better when hubby is home and sleeping in bed w/ me. I have such a hard time sleepin if he isnt home. So for the next few days i will probably be up late w/ you guys. I hope this is the end of bad things in my family for a while at least. I don't remember this myself, but my mom has this story of when her G-pa died. I guess I was very upset thinking that if he died, she might to. She says she promised me then that she wouldn't ever die. Then she told her own mother the story and got ripped a new one. G-ma thought that was a very foolish promise to make, considering time of death is usally out of a person's hands. Karen, I'm sorry, I think I should know this. Tori is your daughter that's getting married and you're doing the lobster bake as the reception, right? Bet everyone's getting very excited!!!
Tonights plan is to finish hemming the curtains that I made on his last business trip and make new throw pillows for the living room. He won't recognize our living room when he returns. The kids hate when he travels too. They miss him like crazy. But even worse, I get in a furniture rearranging mood and since I can't do it alone...they 'get' to help. Kelly...what a hilarious story!!! You and your husband remind me of how me and Danny "compliment" each other lol. I had step brothers when I was a teenager that taught me about cars and Danny can work on cars too so I know a little about cars too. It really is handy knowledge to have and we are teaching the girls stuff too. Danny let Arielle drive the truck around an empty parking lot this weekend! She said she killed it several times lol. She will get the hang of driving stick lol. She did seem to enjoy it tho. I like to spread out all over the bed when Danny isn't home at night but I don't sleep real well without him in the bed with me. It's kinda like he is my grown up security blanket lol. Yes... wearing high heels killed my left foot and ankle. I do not see how people with RA can even wear high heels. I would be asking someone to shoot me within 15 mins. My right foot was comfy, but my left foot well.... lets just say it is retaliating now.

OK, I totally just read the last few posts of this thread, but I gotta tell ya...my sis is getting married on the 27th, the Saturday before Halloween. She's wearing a black corset with a gorgeous ballgown skirt made of black tulle with purple flames coming up from the hem. And....combat boots! At least she thinks she might. The skirt totally covers whatever she wears, and she wants to be comfy.
Now Dan, he will probably want to wear combat boots with his tux, LOL! Please be sure to post photos!!!! I really don’t care for one shoulder dresses. And the Skipper was way too close to his "little buddy" don't ya think? The dress sounds like what my sister wore to her son's wedding, color and all. I know it looked great! We are also playing with the idea of a candy bar or a Coldstone Ice Cream station. Just ideas we are tossing around. My daughter had decorative bags made up for each guest, they said "Love, Sweet Love" and then their names, and wedding date. They were really cute, and not that expensive to have printed. We didn't do table favors either. My daughter donated a kidney to her father (my husband, LOL) back in 2004, so in lieu of favors, she donated the amount of money she would have spent on them, to the Kidney Foundation. A little card was placed at everyone's place setting explaining the donation. ooohhh good ideas....I want some candy...corn! I am out! I want chocolate m&m's with p-nuts.

Ok... so my leg twitching has not been so bad since I felt like I was being weighed down and in slow motion and a hurtin. It twitches every so often but not like it was. Any ideas on why I am not twitching soo much? Was it the start of a fibro flare? I see food is our current toppic. (Food or Coffee regulars on the board
How is everyone? I am off today and had back to back 13 hour days. So I slept for 12 today! Mary is home and went back to "regular" work today. How is the ship coming along Karen. Joonie I have never twitched with fibro, I don't think thats it. I think you walked to much at the fair and stuff. Milly is probably right about the tendons and stuff. I just had some garlic chicken and pasta for dinner. YUM, it was a frozen bag but it is sooo good..now I need my sweets! Well kiddos! I am off to bed. Still recovering from the other day. It is a struggle to walk, but I am walking even though it is slow and painful! OMG! I forgot... I lifted son up to wash his hands, well not lifted him he jumped up and I pressed him with my stummy to make sure he would not fall. Anyways... I help him get back down, and for some reason he jumped back up and he knocked me in the jaw. That was VERY painful. I could not chew, my whole right side of my face is sore and swelled, but he hit me on my right side. Now everything in my right ear is muffled, and I hear a fluid swishing sound. I cannot really open my mouth too wide to begin with and now, it hurts to even open it or close it. I came outta the bathroom crying and hubby was like what happened and I told him. All the pain shot straight to my brain and it was just awful. I hate it when the pain shots to my brain, it is like a shock. Twitching I remember having twitches at night. Mary would wake me because I was kicking her. After I stopped taking Prednisone it stopped.
I'll have to think of something to take out of the freezer maybe we'll have lasagne Hey Jaybird
