www.raacademy.com is a website that I got from my rheumy today. I haven't totally checked it out but I did look at the yoga for RA patients. I just started back with yoga this week. I used to do it all the time but got out of practice for some time and now I'm pathetic again. I have terrrible balance and flexibility but I'll keep trying. One thing I can say about yoga is that after you do it for a while, you sure look toned but like everything else, as soon as you quit, you lose it.
Cristene, That site is a great resource. I bookmarked it.
I love yoga. I only do the "gentle yoga". It is not terribly challenging but it sure makes a difference in flexibility and state of mind. I have also used a lot of the Rodney Yee videos.
I think yoga and swimming are the two best exercises for ra. Walking is good because you can pace yourself. I am so glad your rd supports your walks!
