Thanks Pip, this keeps playing into my in-utero DES poisoning.  Hi Pip, our cat was diagnosed hyperthyroid last year and it's been a rough year trying to regulate.  He was very sick and I thought that he might die but he's doing great now.  He started the symptoms after we moved into the RV.  It was a brand new one with all the chemicle smells.  It's a possibility that attributed to or caused Top Cat's thyroid problems.  Interesting article.  I think I'll do a little more research.  I'm not sure that RVs fall under the same laws.  There's a lot of glue used in RVs, lot of foam, and I don't know if the laws that apply to furniture makers apply to RV furniture.   Lindy
