Good morning everyone. Its 8.30am here and i am trying hard to get it together today.
Katie- glad you are enjoying having a lazy time, it will only do you good. As for food, well i am back on the darn salad thing again, I have eaten half a bag already this morning and its probably not the best breakfast but my mouth was watering for it HAHAHA...Yes Katie they have gven me fake saliva but it tastes like the saliva of 50 dead camels. It doesnt help much but i have ice pops in the freezer that im going to try and drink lots more bottled water to see if that helps....................Better 50 dead camels than 50 dead ferrets!!!

Danielle is flaring. She is on 25 mg of pred for the next 3 days and then doing the usual taper down. That means there are 2 of us in the house on pred at the same time doing a taper at the same time. If Milwaukee suddenly disappears from the map...you will know why lol. I am betting that Danny is pretty thankful right now that he works 2nd shift AND weekends lol.
I can not wake up this morning. I hope I make it til Danielle leaves for school.
Morning all! It's a drippy, rainy day here in the Chi-town 'burbs. I just got into an argument with some ignorant @sshat who insists on BLARING her horn repeatedly when she comes to pick up one of my neighbors for work AT 6:15AM. I asked her politely if she could please not lay on the horn. She replied, not politely, that she was honking the horn because she was picking someone up, that there was not a goddamn law against it, and I was a stupid c***. LOL - I replied that in fact there IS a city ordinance against blaring your horn UNLESS you are in imminent danger of an accident, and that she might want to watch out... because she never knows when the police might be hanging out in back of MY house ready to rush out and give her a 0 ticket for noise violations. Jasmine - LOL - you sound like me, I would have reacted the same way. What an inconsiderate, ill-mannered human. Hold it, maybe she isn't human as all I see in the news is that we have been invaded by aliens. < =text/>_popupControl(); LOL Jazz...sounds like what I would have said and done.It is a drippy, damp, rainy day here too in the Milwaukee burbs. Even with 60 mg of pred...I have fingers that remind me of the sausage mascot for the Brewers and hands that look like marshmallows...all soft and puffy.
Danny got up for 20 minutes this morning...insisted on coffee...and had 3-4 sips of it...and is now once again snoring away!! ARGH!!! I told him don't do the coffee he was just going to waste it!!! Sometimes...it is like having another teenager in the house. Only this one isn't moody...b*tchy...and constantly on the phone!!! This one just eats and watches really weird stuff on TV lol.
I know for sure that I have been invaded by aliens...I don't need the news to tell me that...I have teenagers!!!

Joonie, Darvocet is a crap pain reliever. Ask for a *better* pain reliever, like codeine or vicodin. They probably won't make you any more loopy than Darvocet - that's about all that drug is good for. The best pain med I had was when I was in the hospital. Dilaudid(sp) by IV. OMG, that was the BEST. But it made my blood pressure tank, so they wouldn't give me any more.It better be, as Justin's telling me it was about !!!! OMG i have put sooo many things in the drier that shouldnt be....hubby comes home w/ those stupid little screws from switch plates ...omg if i dont see another one of those ill be happyLOL This is the first time I've ever washed a pen, actually. LOTS of money...bills and coins.....candy, cough drops, gum... When my oldest was a little kid, he left a bunch of crayons in his pocket and I didn't check. Ruined everything.

I am not one to take pain meds even when I am in pain, but I cannot let my pain go for too long before it breaks my mind. Like it did a few times before.
I did not even take pain meds but 2 days after the c-sections with son. I just dealt with the pain and slept alot.
My pain reliever is sleep. If I can ever get to sleep while in pain, I can sleep my pain away. I have done it all of my life. But I have had some pain that I could not fall asleep with because it hurt sooo bad, and that even lortabs did not touch. But that was after I had son and was in a major flare.
I can handle pain. It's torture i can't handle. There is a difference. There is a level of intollerence. And yes that breaks me.

I'm confused too. I have only pred 20mg. coming down from high dose. Took one vicoden. Will take one diazapam i think to get a good sleep tonight. The pred has wore me out. The doctor said i could. He thought i was in bad shape. And the pain is coming threw as the 20mg wares off. I start something when the rest of my blood work comes in. I don't know what it will be. Aveoly?? i can't remember. That i will tell you. I take one more 20 mg of pred tomorrow. Then i go to 10mg pred a day , for a month. I am bad swelling every where. Oh there goes another one that was my night and day. 5 mg diazapam i rarely take one. Doc said take for sleep also. I got to fatiqued for the flexeril sometime ago. Just pred and a vicoden, as in one vicoden all week, and lack of sleep is what i am on. Till the rest of the blood work comes back in a day or two.Where's the rowdy girls tonight?? Well I hope you can get some good sleep tonight Milly.I am on the begining of someone believing i have RA, don't mind saying they waited to long. It is sad i am a sick girl. They are waiting on c reactive protien and anti-ccp before they start any meds. Doing more blood work to see about fatique issues and infection tommorow. I finally tested positive for RA, that came back 10 days ago. Of the last few flares. And how no one helped me with them. I would bring my mri's and ex-rays and all to specialist's in the past and by the time i would get in the flare would be over and i would not get help. And then it would start all over. I havn't swelled up for two years. Then it was 3 years and that time 11 months. Whoa Milly! Reign in those horses!
