ENBREL @ room temp | Arthritis Information

I got my dose (50mg pre-filled syringe) from the fridge and left it to warm to room temperature last night, around 7pm. I woke up about 4am and realized it was still where I left it. I popped it back in the fridge.

So, I was wondering if it was still good. I called the Enbrel hotline and the nurse told me that studies have shown that Enbrel remains stable and still usable for 4 days at a max temperature of 77°F. She did caution me that she was not advising me to use the dose, "talk with your doc or pharmacist."

FYI...

Have a great day all!

Mike

That's  a good question....I've wondered about Humira as well. We had to drive to my Drs appt with my injection and it was a 45 minute drive. The study nurse said it can stay out for an hour...I kept a cold ice pack  (not frozen) on my lap and had the injection on it in case...I was a bit nervous.
So if anyone knows, I'd like to know how long you can leave the drugs out too.
I'd definately check with the pharmacist. He'll know the most. I'd be a little afraid to use yours Mike. Murph; I think you'll be fine in your situation...but yours has been out a long time Mike.
