They are giving free shots Monday on my job, I had previously been told that I could not take the flu shot.  I called my rhumys office today and spoke to her nurse and was told it is recommended that I take the flu shot < =text/>_popupControl(); That is great MaeMae that the flu shots are free for employees!  They do that where my husband works too.  Just always make sure that any vaccines you get are NOT LIVE vaccines.  I get one every year without a problem. When I am in getting my
infusion-the nurse gives me one then. Couldn't be easier!

Got mine today...even makes the joint pain subside for a day or two!

Alan

Got mine yesterday. Was a bit sore last night, but an ice pack did the trick!!

Got mine this week and the pneumovaccine.  The one for pneumonia is good for 5 years.   Got mine a week ago this was actually my first shot ever for the flu they wouldnt give me the pnemonia shot since i just had a severe case of that one which did some serious damage see i waited to lond to go see a doc i figured it was just a cold that would go away but still didnt go now im having difficulties from it so you need to get a shot especially with all these meds that we are taking that are lowering are immune system.

Had mine on Friday.  They said the shot was the "dead" one, but the nasal spray was the "live" one.  I guess you have to get the shot.

It's not a biggie, worth it!

Got mine after church yesterday.  The kids' prayers must have worked... they were not offering shots to anyone under 18. got mine 2 weeks ago at work-I get one every year and have been flu-free so far...for you non-believers out there...(you know who you are!!) NO YOU CANT CATCH THE FLU FROM A FLU SHOT!!!
