SOOO I just got a letter from bloodwork i had in order to work as an EMT...the test was from june. Apperhently a lot of my results were off. im not sure what they mean. im having it faxed to my rheumatolgist, my triglyserides were very low 7 supposed to be in the 100s....my white blood cells, neutraphils and monocytes were a bit off as was my creatine. I dont know what to think of it. but i have to admit im a little excited lol i looked up the tryglyiserides and i found that under 10 there could be a problem such as malabsorpion or thyroid problems. I want them to dx me with somthing saying why my stoamch ALWAYS hurts!!!!! lol maybe they will finally figure it out. LM was your Creatine high? Cuz that's your kidneys, please get it checked out if it was high, ok?

i think it was high but may have been low...resutls are getting sent to my doc tomorrow < =text/>_popupControl();

LMM, sorry about the results, but at least you are aware, and it is a good thing to keep Rheumy in the loop as well as you GP.  They need to work as a team.  What have you had done for the tummy?  What kind of testing, and is this new/old, or just something that has gotten way worse???

Keep us in the loop too. YEp! if you are over 18, the blood test are yours, and you can have a copy faxed to you at the school.

I am over 18. i know i can get them for myself. My stomach has been messed up for yours. 3 years ago i had endocscopy, colonoscopy upper gi with small bowel follow through...nothing. i did an illimination diet and stopped eating gluten-felt ebtter for awhile. last year its been much much worse againLM, your creatinine gives a picture of kidney function. But you also have to
look at your glomerular filtration rate. If you fasted for 12 to 14 hours as
indicated for the lipid panel, it may mean that you were dehydrated. Once
drinking again, the numbers usually go back to normal. You have to look at
more than one test to see if it is abnormal. Also, have you tried to eliminate
dairy from your diet for a while, as that can be as bad as the gluten for some
people. I have never heard of tryglicerides that low. That is worthy of
checking out and I would be curious about what that means. Good luck.yea im not worrid about creatinine cause i get the checked reguraly and its always fine. I have tried taking out dairy and also tried using lactaid pills....

i dont know for sure what low triglyserides mean but i looked it up and it can be a sign of malabsorbtion....which is why i want this to get checked out they can never find somthing wrong with my stomache-maybe this is a key!
