Mornin'! we had a series of storms pass through last night with tornadoes just a bit away.........ARGH! the pain! THe wind managed to rip the front glass door off the frame .......again....so I will have to figure out something for that; mom's deductible is too high to turn it in on the house insurance and besides, she is swamped with her medical bills right now.
So "I" get to fix a door and the frame this weekend....... are there directions somewhere for that?

It is a wonderful day. I looked up scleroderma and testing. I have a box in the basement to confirm. a very serious eshophgous problem, the vasculitis thing my nuero is all about that, carpul tunnel , and so on all of that scince i was 29. Trust me i can feel it everyday. It's getting the docs to believe me that has been the problem. I don't have alot of obvious skin problem with this. I get a shiny wrinkled skin thing and then later my skin is thinner. The entire muscle wall of my face ,chest ,lower, arms, and legs are just like a tight wet suit. I even have the calcium deposits in the muscles on mri, and scaring of the lungs on exray. I have every symtem. And every documented condition. So maybe i can go forward now. I have some strange white cell counts down stairs also. I am not a specialist but i more than meet criteria. I loose wieght and muscle tissue with my fibro attacks so i never bought that as a diagnoses, my last flare i had to have 4 surgery's. So if you have a neuro, an internal surgen, ortho and ruemy, you may want to keep a diary. My docs all know about each other, oh and the lung guy i forgot about him, i was allergic to all his meds. Anyway i have just been afraid of not figureing this out. But i am confident know. They said it takes years and alot of docs. well i aready did that. Last attack my fatique went away alot after the flare. So i am hoping this will do the same. Also i have some symetrical arthritis and some migratory arthritis. See i thought i was going to full body head to toe explode the other night. As all conditions occuring at once. This was a bit scary. I did some research and i don't think that will happen unless they give me a medicine i am allergic too. < =text/>_popupControl(); Morning everyone. Drizzling here right now. Going to do that off and on all day today. I have a feeling that most of my today is going to be spent in bed. Bleh.Shannon....I hope Kelsay feels better soon. Poor baby. Poor Kelsey, kids with colds are always so miserable. I feel so sorry for them when they come in to the surgery with their runny noses and coughs and sore ears.
Looks like its going to be a nice weekend. Unfortunatley it will be spoiled by a Tupperware Party on Sunday, but I can cope with that.
We have anew boarder. Jordan's friend Julian just got kicked out of home because he didn't cut the grass and wash the dishes. His mum kicked him out and said if he wanted to get his clothes and stuff he could call the police. His mobile phone was in the house so he asked her if he could come in and get it and she said no. So we have cleared out one of the spare rooms and set up the air bed in there and took out the beer fridge. I can't believe how unreasonable some parents are. She has done this before. He is a nice kid. Nineteen years old, in university doing teaching and working part time. He is a nice kid. I know there are always 2 sides to a story but this is a pretty good kid, give him a break.

So, I will go to counselling first. I need it after the doc called yesterday. I will see if we are a match, b/c this is the first one. I love it when doctors just respond to your needs. I have a new Doc on base, and I think I am going to really like him. He is prompt and he really listens...I mean REALLY listens!
Then I will have the WONDERFUL message on my back, and hopefully I will get some pain relief. Then the ugh...joint shot...the last one...and let me tell ya...if I don't see improvement and quick...well...it will NEVER happen again.
Shannon...so sorry about little Kelsay...bless her...Keep the baby home and warm. She will not learn a thing if she is sick*other than to wear herself completely thin*.

No, it has actually added pain. Ortho says that is normal until the last one....so do they add steriods, cause that is the only shot that would settle it down now. I am back to locking and giving out...so the stairs are NOT my friend. Yep, gotta love it.

My eldest daughter went out last night with some friends and she drove, I cant sleep unless she is in ( she is 19) so when she hadnt turned up by 1am i was ready to call the police. Luckily the phone rang just after and she had a little accident that wasnt her fault. They were all okay just shaken up. ( a fox ran out in front of the car)
Hubby went out to get them and dropped the friends at home.There isnt a lot of damage to the car mainly to the bumper and she needs a whole new wheel. I'm just relieved that they are ok.

Frogs up their butts and needed to croak. WOOHOO the water has receded! It's good that I didn't have to work this AM though, as they closed the main road in town due to flooding. Well I'm trying to get stuff cleaned out and put where they are soposed to. Brought in the 2 boxes of baby clothes that I brought back from my sisters house and put them in a plastic bin and put it downstairs...Makes me want another baby though...Thats about all ive accomplished today. Wanna try and clean the bathroom and the kitchen today and put Kelsays clothes in the wash...
Hi everyone, just finished cleaning the house and am now resting. All I have to do this afternoon is make spaghetti sauce and meatballs. We have company arriving from Victoria this evening, company arriving on Monday then on Wed. we all leave for a couple of days in Tucson. We'll be traveling for the next 5 or 6 weeks. Yeah, I can't wait to get on the road. I'm sure the cats can wait but I can't.

Katie, Whee, is about all I can say. You can keep the tornados, lived through them and I'll take the desert storms anytime. I lived in Gainesville, Fla. for a year and I remember the daily afternoon downpour. I'm glad that you and Justin are fine and no damage.

Hi lindy and thanks!!! I am going to add another couple of pics of last night. I actually did get some solid sleep last night. I got about 4 hours straight sleep. I am going to try and nap this afternoon after the kids get home from school. I asked the girls if it would upset them if I napped after they got home from school and they said it wouldn't. They want me to sleep so I am "not so cranky" lol. So I figure after homework is all done I can take a little snooze. Awww you are going to Tucson!!! We lived there for 5 years!!! I miss the mild winters a whole bunch!!!

Yeah, I'm glad the rain is over. They say we got a foot of rain yesterday! Driving here was interesting, a lot of the lines on the roads were washed off! Who knew that happened? LoL
So emu oil soap vs my activ-on arthritis stuff. Emu oil sucks. LOL I tried the soap today and all it did was eat up my skin. Boo hiss! My hands and elbows have been giving me HELL since this storm came in. But as long as I keep the Activ-on on them, I do alright.

Gosh...between all of the crazy appts...I have gotten nothing done. I did sleep for about two hours. I needed that. The wind has picked up more and my body is just killing me.

Katie...I am just glad that you both are ok, and hope that this doesn't interrupt work too much.
Link...I did the other xrays today, so I should know something Monday or Tuesday. I can tell you...it feels like crap. I hate these joint shots. I told the doctor that he made me worse, and I explained what happened, and he said...hmmm, well we are in a catch 22 with all of the arthritis problems and the weather changes, so let's see what happens in about six weeks. You may want another series in about six months....hmmmm...let me think about that one?!
It's the 26k dial up, oh there are the voices again, I can't wait. Actually I needed to upgrade the flash player anyway. Now I can put in my game codes to win the Mustang on the Starburst website and I can send Hallmark e-cards to DD in Scotland.Well no WONDER it's slow! Ok ok...I need you guys to be straight up with me about something. I have the chance to do braids in my hair at a price I can afford. It would be much easier to care for my hair this way for a few weeks. I am so dependent on others to care for my hair. I was going to cut it all off...but the family has talked me into leaving it long and that they will help me with it. Which for me means...I can't shower if no one is home cuz there are times I can't brush my own hair!!! Buuuuuuuuut if I do these braids...I can shower when I want...well after I recover from the flare I can shower when I want...right now I have to do it when someone is home in case I fall....it would be one less personal hygiene problem to have to deal with or burden my family with taking care of for me.
Do the braids! Anything to make life easier for you, you deserve it. In a sense, it's going to give you some independance back. I'm all for it!

Milly,If you think you have scleroderma you need to see a scleroderma specialist. Check out the scleroderma network (can't remember the url but you can google it) if you haven't yet. They can help you find the closest specialist.
We are remodeling the 2nd floor of our house. It is in desperate need. The bathoom has gold fixtures and that funny kind of sparkly formica, and tiny brown floor tiles that are coming off and stick to your feet if you are barefoot. Every now and then we get out the hot glue gun and stick them back down. I suspect we are going to find water damage too. Both kids are at college now and after living here 10 years we can finally afford to remodel: new doors, trim, flooring, paint and fix up the bathrooms.

Just got home from visitation. Had a wonderful time. I hurt so bad. Josh and Amy are having a baby. My nephew, he lives down the street i love his girl Amy. He was so upset and i told him he had seen me this way before. He said what it's just bad right now. I said yes it is just bad right now. They are going to start hanging out here like they did as kids. They are 23 and 21. And i will help Amy with the baby, due in March. All the nephews, cousins , ect. Everyone is getting so grown up. Then there are all these people that i havn't seen scince i was a kid. My cousin put together a slide show of grandpa's life. It was very nice. Long day. Oh I couldn't help it man!!
