OT: a satellite company without service | Arthritis Information

This is a good one, could not believe it. We had trouble with one of the remotes for the living room tv sattellite thingy so I called the satellite place. It was decided that we needed a new remote because the one we had did not work correctly...at all actually. They would ship it UPS be there in a few days. Ok, no prob, thankyou.

Few days later: recieve the new remote, I call as directed by the tech person so someone can help me program the darned thing so the tv in living room will work again. It was a nightmare. The tech gal and I went round and round about the entire setup we have here and I tried to tell her....her company did it why is she giving me a hard time? Then we tried to get the remote working, no can do that either...ok, so I asked if they coudl just schedule someone to come figure this out...........

NO

What???????? NO??????? No as in you cannot send someone here to fix my satellite? Or no not today. No period, they will not send someone to our home to fix the problem. I aked  why and she said they do not do that. SO this is a sattellite company that does not fix their problems with their equip? No, they do not come to your home to fix equipment. I said fine and hung up.

Next week I will  schedule for cable to be installed. When that is installed I will call the Dish Network people and cancel ...gee I wonder if they will come pick up their equipment or if I will have to drop it off....If I have to drop it off.......eeeeeeewwwwwww I may not be too nice about it.

Can you believe this??????? I was shocked.
