Stella was born on the 12th of Oct. at 4pm.
I got home last night and plan on just recuperating today and trying to organize the pictures.
Just wanted to share my wonderful news. Being a Grandmother is wonderful, but I am suffering from separation anxiety already.!!!

Congrats! My granddaughter is my greatest joy. I am so happy for you. Life dosn't get any better than this. I know the two of you will be so close, you have a new best friend.That's so exciting! Oh what lovely news!! Aren't you the lucky one, my baby granddaughter is 17, on Oct 31st. Where did the years go???? I know that separation anxiety feeling.

I don't even have the words to describe the joy that grandchildren bring into your life. Can't wait for the pics!!! Congratulations, Crispy! What a joy. To repeat what Milly said, there is nothing like a granddaughter! Being a Grandma brings a special love, all it's own. How far are they from you? Will you be able to see them very often? I hope they are close, but, if not, I am certain that you will see the baby (and parents) frequently. Get some rest, I'm sure you need it.

It is absolutely the best thing that has happened to me since my own kids were born. Had to edit: maybe better than when my own were born, NO LABOR! HAHAHA Being a grandma is just the BEST! Yup, all that cuddling of a precious baby without having gone through labor. My granddaughter is 5 months old and if I could figure out how to post her picture, I'd show Julia off to all of you. She was a preemie so she's still pretty small but absolutely adorable. So glad you've got a new love in your life...the trip from VA to CA will be made often! My granddaughter is 2 hours away and I don't get to see her or my grandson, her 2 year old brother, nearly as often as I'd like.
