Hi Remicade users: I just heard we should take our flu shot at the end of the time we take the REM. (to make the flu shot work better), have you heard this? LyndaI haven't heard that but I do get it at my RD's office during the infusion. They don't wait until the end though....I get mine whenever they come to town to do a special clinic for it. It's this Wednesday and I had Remicade two Wednesday's ago. No one has ever said that it had to be a set time after the infusion, but then again I've never asked.I talked to my RD last month about the timing of the flu shot and his only recommendation was not get get the shot on the same day as the infusion. Only because of any reaction to either one. LindyMy PCP insists that I get a Flu shot every year due to my compromised immune system. He knows I'm on remicade and he doesn't say one way or the other
