Any good fizzes lately? | Arthritis Information

My daughter fizzed last night. She had a good epson salt soak (thank goodness for those long Curious George books; and I used to curse 'Horton Hears a Who', practically a novel, but I think it will come in handy now!).

Toe - three audible fizzes. Wrist - one. Finger - once each side of hand.

No white spots a la Go-go, but we can dream, can't we? Something to aspire to.

Justsaynoemore - in light of our region's water restrictions, I may need you to apply for some type of waiver in order to continue the study. (I felt a little guilty pouring that water down the drain, after she already took a regular bath; people here are using "gray water" to water plants, shrubs, etc., but I didn't know what the salt would do.) I've been having some amazing hand fizzles but none on the rest of my body. I always try to take pictures but it's really hard to get a good one. I enjoy trying it on a Minocin day and then doing it again on a non-minocin day, to compare the differences. I always fizz a lot less on non-day, but I'm still mystified about what is going on. There's just not enough inofrmation.

I do feel better after those baths, though.
I'm on a 3rd day in a row of no pain (so far)!!! So if I still feel this way tonight I'll try a fizz bath and see what happens.

Most of our supplemental water is done with "gray water", including that for Epsom salt soaks. It only becomes a -problem- if concentrated magnesium sulfate water is poured on the same area repeatedly.

To recycling and reusing! HappToday is zith day for her, but weeknights are more hectic so I wanted to do it last night.

I don't know if I posted this or not, but her AP dr. recently halfed her dose. Since zith as a long half-life, I don't think her initial dose was considered "pulsing", but now that she is on less, I'm wondering if it will be like pulsing now.

She is down to a 1/2 tsp. twice a week. That is all she takes - no pred, NSAIDS, etc. And so far, no pain or flare. Knock on wood. Whatever she had going on last weekend didn't upset the apple cart, either. Knock on wood again.

I'm glad you have had a nice painfree weekend! That is great news! Maybe you are beginning a 'two steps forward' phase? I hope so. Thanks, Happ! I'll spread it around.

People here are drilling their own wells, to water their grass. It is insane. Just because they have ,000 to blow, they are going to tap into the region's groundwater supply for their own green grass?????

huh? what is a fizz?

A few people here who have soaked in epson salt water, then applied hydrogen peroxide, have "fizzed" - like when you put it on a cut. It's weird. But my daughter only "fizzes" where she has arthritis. Juliah - you can see it on Gimpy's avatar - she took a picture when she fizzed! Hey Julia, here's the thread where I first discovered fizzlery. A bunch of us have been fooling around with it ever since.

Whew, glad I didn't have to author an appeal to the Supreme Court to get special dispensation from water regulation for fizzling.  Thanks, Happ.

I haven't fizzled lately because I am feeling good.  But the best part of all of this is Suzanne's daughter and GoGo's fizzling.  Amazing, frigging amazing.  Great link goGo.

I have always wanted to visit Oslo.
