Yay! I finally got my poor laptop fixed....the pin in the port where the power cord plugs in wasnt connecting and so it wasnt getting any juice. I just cant sit at the desktop for any length of time plus the kids are always on that one. Anyways...now I have my baby back and I can lounge on the couch while I web surf and chat.
How is everyone doing? We are getting our first cold snap of the season here in TX...first really cold night and my toes are screaming. I guess we are all in for it for a while, no more warm dog days of summer left.
I see a ton of names that I hadnt seen before...so "Hi" to all of the folks I havent had the pleasure of meeting yet!
And...last but not least..."Hello again!" to all the friends I havent really gotten to chat with in the past few months, I missed yall!
We didnt get too many warm days this summer in the Uk and Jack frost paid a severe visit to edinburgh last night... must admit I like the smell of autumn best. Welcome back

I am also from Texas. It is cold this morning, I had to turn the heater on. I feel horrible this morning, aching and my ears hurt. Probably just the weather. Sandra Yeah! A fellow Texan!! yeah there is a bug going around, my husband and daughter have the sore ears and throat and congestion yuckiness. I thought I was getting it Sunday night but I took a big swig of perscription cough medicine and I have been fine since..lol. What part of TX are you in? I am north of Houston. Like..a hair north of houston. I am in the Hill country about an hour west of Austin. I am happy about the cooler weather, Just wish I felt better. My husband is from Houston. The trees are beautiful and loosing leaves fast! I love fall. Now humidity to make me hurt but the cold sucks too. Can't win! Welcome Back Cruny>>>glad to see familiar names again.
