I've been lurking and reading for a few weeks, and you have all been so much help, after this scarey dx. my ra has had about 1 1/2 yrs start before finally being sent to RD
I see him again next week and hope I ask all the right questions, any suggestions so much of what you talk about I'm going through. so supprised so many of you are SO Young, I feel (luckey) that this didn't show up many years earlier. anyway thanks for all the help you didn't know you were giving me, after a year of thinking i was losing my mind.

Sheila Hi Mary. "couldn't pull up covers" - I was like that before finally getting meds a few months ago. But if I told anyone, they thought I was nutz. Friends could not understand how swollen and painful hands were (knees, shoulders too)that I'd cry out at night just trying to pull blanket up. Your comment caught my eye. I waited too long before getting dx and have severe damage to hands and knees now. I hope you won't. And a message to anyone else reading this. If you have not gone for help yet.. GO NOW! Do not wait like I did. Big Mistake. Anyway, Aloha and welcome Mary. Welcome Mary! You will find so much empathy here...glad you have found us! I got one of those supports for the blankets on my bed...that works great for the legs but wish I could find something to yank the covers up too ! OOOOHHHHHHH! I know it hurts! Hang in there dear!
