Well, I am back in the office and man what a collossal mess!!!!!!!  Its going to take weeks I imagine to get things under control!!  Ugh.

I am still not feeling real well.  Mt blood pressure is all over the map and they have me over medicated so I am very short of breath and dizzy.  I am cutting back some of the bp meds but its a slow wean.  My chest still hurts from being intubated also.

I have not made any decisions about Will yet.  Things are civil.  We are both going to go to individual counseling first, than we will find a marriage counselor.  I really have no idea whats going to happen, I say its about 50/50 at the moment.

I also got a letter stating there is a problem in my neck.  Not exactly sure what but it would explain the pain I have been having for many months now.  I am off to go to the dr to find out what and will post an update when I get back.

I am\hoping to catch up on some posts in the next day or two.  I have a LOT of mess to clean up here after being gone for 4 weeks!!!!

YAY!!!  Glad to see you back in the saddle again!!!  Ok…so you have a mess to clean up at work.  That just shows you that things can not be run properly without you there and that you really are needed!!  I hope your stinkin’ boss behaves himself and does not make any snide comments that he is so famous (or should I say infamous) for.

Sorry you are still not feeling all that great.  It is going to take time to really get these problems under control.  And it will take time to figure out what med or meds will work best for your hypertension.  Take everything at your own pace.  That means slowly work on getting the office back in shape.  It doesn’t need to be done overnight.  They survived for a month without you and they will survive a few more days until you get everything in order.  I bet you are still sore after being intubated.  Anyone would be if they had a tube shoved down their throat into their lungs!!  You probably will be sore a couple more weeks since you have the costcochondritis too.

Your PM box is full!!!

Take your time deciding about your marriage.  Both of you need that individual and then the couples counseling.  I am glad things are civil and hope they remain that way.  It really is the only way to be while things are still up in the air.  No reason to fight and argue about anything really since all the cards have already been laid on the table and now you guys are focusing on putting those cards in whatever order they need to be put in.

Wow, so there was a problem with your neck like you have been telling these doctors ALL ALONG!!!  Sheeeesh!!!  About time they resolved their cranial-rectal syndrome about what you have been saying about your medical problems!!!

Let us know what is going on with your neck!!!

Hi Michelle. I was thinking about you today and was just about to email you when I saw your post. Hugs to you, JuliaGlad to see you back Michele!  Regarding that man... don't make any rash decisions.  Remember, chronic illness is devastating to both partners in a marriage.  Often times the "healthy" spouse doesn't really know how to react. They say and/or do stupid things... they're human too. I've been on both sides of this issue, and let me tell you it ain't easy being the healthy spouse either.

Hi Michele and so glad to see you getting back into the swing of things.

Take care

Yes, they now know that I have degenerative AO in three vertebrae in my neck and two in my low back.  Peachy!  At least they are starting to take me seriously now!!!!  I am really just done with doctors!!

Its just 2 pm here and I am toast, burnt toast really.  I am sooo tired physically and mentally.  I am supposed to be here un5til 6 but doubt I will make it that long. I can barely talk my throat is so irritated.  Think I might go to the back and see about a 15 minute cat nap, I sure do need it!!

Ok, so anyone know about the new meds I am on, one is remeron and the other is zyprexa, I haven't googgled them yet but was wondering if anyone is taking either?  These are psych meds not ra meds! Remeron is an antidepressant, and zyprexa is an antipsychotic/mood stabilizer.  It is often added to antidepressants for depression that is not responding to treatment, as well as for bipolar disorder.

Zyprexa can cause hyperglycemia and weight gain.  I can't remember - are you diabetic?  If so, you really need to watch blood sugar levels on zyprexa.
I am glad to see your post Michele, I too, had wondered how you were doing, even went back to find your most recent post to see if there was something from you. Work always helps take my mind off myself, hope it does the same for you. Have to agree with the other posts, give yourself time. All the best.Hey Michele, so glad to see you again.  I think you got some good advice from Jas.  You've got all the time in the world to decide about those things, just take care of yourself for now.Hi Michele, good to hear from you. I'm always available on the Pm, anytime. Goooo slowly, take care of yourself. Lynda{{{{{Michele}}}}} So glad to hear you're getting back to things! Try not to tackle everything at once. You're in our thoughts.Michele, I have been thinking about you and still remembering you in my prayers.  I am wishing only the best for you.   Hey Michele, I'm glad you're finally getting some solid answers on what your actual medical problems are. If you are too tired, leave work early, if possible. This is a time to be really nice to yourself and put yourself in the front of your priority list. Thanks everyone!!  No, not diabetic but the weight gain scares me and I have had a serious case of the munchies!!!!

Michele take care of yourself...and pm, me anytime.  Would love to hear more.

Michelle, great to see you back!  Take it easy going back to work, it is hard to get back in "groove" of work when you have been ill.
