Well told doc what the dentist said. He said keep him informed on my tuesday dentist visit. He refilled pred wants me to try and drop down to 5mg in about 10 days. Refilled the cipro till infection is gone. He really thinks i have Sjorgrens. I told him the dentist thought is was the infection, So wait and see on that one i guess.
Skin issue Hmmm. That really is red. Any advise doc is it infected?Hmmm That really is red. Fish oil, vitamin E and lots of really good lotion for now. Wow!! That is really red.
Finger tip issue RA related he thinks. Inflamed but not necessarily infected. He asked if it hurt i said yes. This is not a reume just my regular doc. He is not a dermatologist either. He is a very good doctor. I told him i know he ordered a cbc but i had gotten so sick and needed a ride so i had gone to the EROOM because i had a ride and was sick. He couldn't believe the treatment i got at the hospital. He said well at least you got your cbc. And we laughed. He said he is going to order another one a little down the road. A couple of things he wants to re check after the infection and when i am on less pred. He was in a more serious mood than i was today. I was more in a denial mood today and had a lot of muscle spasms and some pain. So when i rejected the Sjogrens idea because of the hope i got from the dentist, I think he tried to stay up beat for me. As i can not even start the RA drugs until after the infection is gone. So i will be good girl and do as i am told until another problem arises. He is going over my history and doing his home work. I really threw him on the skin thing today I think. That wasn't in his homework it's pretty new. I have had skin issues before just not as severe. I even remember doing this last flare. But no red chapped skin. The wrinkled shinny thing i had a bit of last flare and it self resolved. This started out that way, shinny wrinkled and went ruff dry and red and a bit swelled actually. So i will watch it for a bit and see what happens. I will get the vaporiser out i guess and see if that helps a bit. It was a cain day right leg was stiff and did not like to be stood on. So i took the leg and dad to the grociery, the bank and the drug store. Told dad i hated to have a senior citizen load and unload my cart but i didn't have any other options. I had to put the cain down to get in my purse, not enough hands. Had to lean on the candy rack to pay for my stuff. I just couldn't put wieght on that leg. So i was rude and leaned on the candy rack but i got it done. I put dad on my bank account as i am my younger brothers payee. This way if i go out of town or get to sick he can get the money. I keep my money in a seperate account. Dad has his health issues but i do not trust anyone else. So temporary solution to a long term problem. And then i got home and went to bed.
Well, a lot of wait and see. Do you feel better having talked with the doc? He sounds like a keeper Milly. Have a good sleep.Sounds like a rough day, honey. You just rest and relax and be glad the doc is listening and you figured out a way around your problem with your dad.
