I just wanted to say thanks to all for the big welcome and replying to my post. I tried to get back onto the message board all day yesterday but it was down so I couldn't read any real good advice from the site until this morning when I got to work. I ended up taking the MTX as usual and just said oh boy....what the heck, I'll deal with it if anything should happen... (I'm much braver typing it here than yesterday let me tell you...lol) Anyways, the cold is not progressing it seems to be the same if not slightly better. The only thing out of the ordinary is a small rash across my nose. It could be from rubbing the itchy thing for a few days and then I thought ...hmmm, you can get rashes from the meds too....sometimes I think too much!! Anyways, thanks again guys...much appreciated and take care.

Hey Jackie.I had the hardest time getting on the board yesterday too.And boy I needed to talk to someone ,it was a rough weekend.
Have you noticed any changes since you started the new med.I am only on predisone now,no dx's yet.I go to reheumy. next week.

It took a little while but yes definately I have noticed changes. I don't hurt nearly as much, my hands were my worst part (as I type all day and work in an office) and you know I used to dread walking up the stairs, now it's like oh man....I gotta go up again but sometimes I forget they used to hurt...so overall the arthritis is feeling better I just hope the rest of the body holds it together, I have my fingers crossed on that. I hope your rhuemy helps you and you feel good soon. Good Luck.
