My face is swollen again today, yesterday wasnt as bad as friday so I stupidly assumed that drinking nearly a bottle of decongestant Sudafed had done the trickd. Used the netti pot for the wash through, but all it does is make me sound like I'm choked up with a cold.
Might treat the hubby to some unadulterated sex whilst we've got the house to ourselves later
Anyway wanted to say hi to you guys, I have been reading some posts and will try to catch up. May have to lay back down but it's hard to sleep sitting straight up

Well i have hauled my sorry ass out the chair to say hi to all. The damn headaches have come back and i feel sooooooooo sorry for myself. Its 10pm so i can go be miserable in bed, just wish i could sleep but thats hard with a 40lb hammer knocking the ole brain about.

Wow! I made it to Church..first time in about well, gosh, lost count. I woke up with some energy...kinda felt strange, and low pain. Kind of the pain that is in the back of your mind, and you can deal with it.
I came home and took a nap...energy did not last all that long...I guess I am normal. Now I am up, and I am going to try to work on finishing my mom's quilted pillow, and work on my daughters quilt for her bed. (I would rather start a new Christmas quilt, cause that will make me smile, but I need to get hers cut and done.)
Woke up in progressivly more pain than this am. It was good while it lasted.

I know exactly what time it is. It is time for my 3 boys to fold the laundry and clean up the living room while I take a nap, and then it will be time for them to take me to dinner.

I had a poster of sylevester stallone in my bedroom. He was leaning on a fence in a green tank top holding a flower or some stupid thing like that! Like.."I'm really beefy, but I'm also quite sensitive"
Oh the Shazam guy was hot. I never watched the show. But loved that poster. Was pretty racy for a teen mag to put something like that in it. Mom was right.Ladies, I guess I'm older so my crushes were a bit different. I did like Davey Jones, though Mona. His pictures from Tiger Beat hung on the wall of our "Girl's Club House" in an old garage!
My favorite was Bobby Sherman! He was on that show "Here Come the Brides" - does anyone remember that blast from the past??? He also had a few pop hits. My other biggie was David Selby from Dark Shadows - he played Quentin Collins. I particularly liked him because he was from West Virginia! (By the way, I got to live my teeny bopper dream a few years ago when I met David Selby and chatted with him about West Virginia - it was about the coolest thing I have ever done!)
Next came Chad Everett from Medical Center, Robert Conrad from Wild, Wild West (man that man had a great butt). Of course there was also Peter Cole from Mod Squad. Then I moved up during high school days to Robert Redford - and there I have stuck. I still adore him, wrinkles, warts and all.

Ok, I'm back. had to leave the room as husband was eating an apple. I don't know what it is about the way he chews it, but it makes me feel like stuffing said apple down his weird apple chewing throat. But now the chin and the hamster cages are clean and fresh, so I guess it served a purpose.

Now that we are in a winning season...who wants to bet that Brett retires!! Can you believe he is a year younger than me!!! I think he is going to go out on top.
