I just want to say my heart goes out to all of you that do not have good health insurance. It just is not right. Everyone should be entitled to the best medical care. I don't know what I would have done if I did not have all the options available to me. I was without health insurance once with an ovarian tumor and I was so scared. I wish there was more compassion and awareness in the world. I for one will vote for any legislation that provides better health care for more people. The medical system is so corrupt. Hang in there, hopefully there will be better times ahead.
I read 40 percent of Americans do not have health insurance. This really is a national shame.
There really is something wrong with our public policy - once you are sick, you can't buy health insurance. I don't really blame the insurance companies - they have to a least break even to stay in business.
I think we need to re-think our system. Too many people suffering.
Man, I had my heart set on a new pair of glasses. Now I have to wait until we come into some money. My last pair of glasses was almost 3 years ago, it is time for another pair since I have to sqwint to see with my glasses on.
Darn Koreans! Just because they have good eyes does not mean Americans have good eyes!!
I feel for all of you. As you know the UK has a national health service that everyone has to pay into out of their wages........unfortunately it is struggling to cope with those that don't pay. I have had to go private for one appointment and I don't know how I would cope if I had to do that all of the time.
My heart goes out to you.
We've got a National Health System, I'll never for the life of me understand
I agree it's a crying shame.
I've said it before and I'll say it everytime the subject comes up; Of all the things in the world that I'm most grateful for my great health insurance runs a close second to my precious family. I don't know how I would have ever managed without it. Luckily for me I receive totally health care through my employer as one of my benifits. The premiums are high; but I know for a fact that my health care charges would have been far more over the years.

I too, am one of the ones who has no health insurance coverage. I lost my coverage when my husband lost his job last year. I tried getting coverage and was told I was too High-Risk, because I take methotrexate. I can't afford to see a rheumatologist, so have to see my GP...who really is very good. At times I become so scared and anxious.......it is nice to have you all to come too and voice my fears and cares..thanks!
