Ok not trying to steal anyone's thunder
I guess you are wondering what I am all for huh? Since the message board has been down a lot lately and being that many of us cannot get along without the message board. That we should devise a way to keep in touch just incase the inevitable happens again -- the board goes bye-bye, like it has in the past. We have a mention of exchanging usernames for Instant Messenger programs such as Yahoo Messenger, AOL Messenger, & MSN Messenger. I have all 3 of those yes, I am an instant messenger junkie as well, I am just never on all of them. I am on MSN Messenger all the time or at least logged in when my computer is turned on. So, here is the plan. If you would like to keep in touch or just talk with other members other then on the message board, let us know your username and which instant messenger you have. MSN Messenger is the BEST in my opinion. Mine is MSN Messenger username may_june_july@hotmail.com If ya feel like adding me to your MSN Messenger feel free to, just make sure you let me know who you are when you are asked if you would like to send a message when adding me. I get a lot of asian folks adding me to their contact list because someone asian girl claimed my email addy was hers and was spreading it around to all her friends...lol. Nope go to msn.com and find the button to download messenger... its free... (i think you have to create a free hotmail act tho) Joonie and I are chatting as i type!!! Ok, I added everyone up to this point...I just saw that Google is coming out with a messenger program I noticed the board went down for a few minutes around noon.

I know earlier when I was trying to access the board, it was running very slow. Anyway, I have now downloaded MSN messenger - alester1115@yahoo.com, Does anyone know if I have to have an actual hotmail account to be able to chat or does it matter as long as you have MSN messenger? I just went ahead and signed up under my old email addy that I have had forever. I can always go back and change it I presume. Thanks to Brenda for the link! Well, I guess I need to break out another notebook. LOL So, I can keep up with everyone's email addy's and b-day's and anything else. If you would like to be added to the "Keep in Touch List" -- just incase the board goes kaput. PM me and I will add your email to the list in my notebook. I am a notebook junkie too...lol. I just love back-to-school sales at Wal-Mart...lol. I Buy a worth of 10¢ notebooks -- the 70 sheet spirals...lol...they last me for almost the whole year.

You can even have a group chat with some of the programs. I don't use that function often...I've only used it on MSN and Yahoo.

Joonie and tara.. i would put you guys to shame... i bought 13 CASES of target's 10 cent notebooks and 9 cases of walmarts 10 cents notebooks... that is 13x40 and 9x24... and i have rain checks for 340 more notebooks... (34 more packs of 10)
